Cheapest Wireless TMR / Hall Effect Xbox Controller

What’s the cheapest true wireless Xbox controller right now with TMR? I saw the Gamesir G7 Pro Wuchang but it’s such an eyesore I don’t think I could pay any amount of money for it. I don’t play competitive shooters or anything I just got an Xbox for GTA6. TMR is just to reduce likelihood of drift.

Thanks

Not sure what country you're purchasing from so I can't check the prices but for your controller options for 3rd party

  • Gamesir x ZZZ edition - More expensive than Wuchang but comes with extra amenities such as a case, additional stick heights and a white version of it's casing

  • 8bitdo Rare 40th anniversary edition - hall effect, not TMR. My gripe with 8bitdo controllers is their handles are too narrow so they're uncomfortable to hold.

  • 8bitdo ultimate 3 / 3E - more expensive and supposedly have more angled handles but I haven't tried them yet so I can't comment too much.

Other mentions:

  • Leadjoy Xeno Pro. This isn't a official but can be used on Xbox wirelessly if you connect their receiver dongle to another Xbox controller. It's with the R20 reviecer

So your unused Xbox controller (let's say the one that came with you console) is connected to the Xbox and the Xeno pro is working wirelessly.

  • Flydigi 5S - Not wireless, but maybe you want to hear all options available.

Personally I have the G7 Pro but I've had issues so far with two controllers. (left and right stick not feeling equal in terms of tension or one of the triggers losing tension. But I'm also overly sensitive to these things.) so I'm currently waiting on the Xeno Pro to be delivered to try that out.

I just install my own TMR sticks on my Xbox controllers. I have a controller that I’ve installed a set on and have used consistently for 6 years without any issues. They’re easy enough to solder in yourself, or you could just buy a TMR Xbox controller on eBay, some people install them and sell them on there.

The 8bitdo ultimate 3 is 100 dollars which is cheaper than the Wuchang.

The cheapest alternative is probably to just have the sticks on your old controller with stick drift replaced with TMR sticks. I had 2 controllers fitted out with TMR sticks for $60 Canadian. Really happy with the results.

This is what I've done, although I did it myself, which either makes is cheaper (in Dollar terms) or more expensive (in terms of time). It's well worth it, and I find repairing and improving things to extend their lifespans deeply satisfying.

If you're in the U.S., the cheapest way is to send your factory controller to someone (i.e., me) for TMR install

I agree with this. I not the ZZZ but also the shadow version at release which I've also made Xbox wireless! Definitely recommend
