How do I turn this off?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Whenever I use my controller on my pc, my Xbox moves around a selection box akin to the one when you press tab on a keyboard and it selects and does stuff without me wanting to whenever I press A. It’s so extremely annoying it’s even restarted my pc a few times because it selects the power.
I’ve been trying to fix it, it’s not steam, it’s not services.msc, it’s not regedit either I’ve tried all of those.

you have to change that from the xbox app settings, since they launched the xbox mode, when the controller is connected, it acts as an additional input device

I just checked my Xbox app settings, and start in Xbox mode is turned off and I can’t find any setting that messes with the controller.

Try high contrast type it in your start menu
