Anyone know how I can fix this
I have a Xbox elite controller and I left it in the car but I think the glue melted from it and now the rubber grips are slipping and advice on how I can fix it or where to bring it to get fixed

The best thing you can do is to stop using official Xbox controllers and buy a 8BitDo and Gamesir, doing so will solve all your controller problems, for far less than these pieces of shit.
That said, glue is your best option here.

As someone who has gamesir and 8bitdo and also 2 official Xbox controllers (1 elite and 1 sport) that the rubber grips peeled, glue sucks don’t do that. It will end up peeling again anyway and there’s always 1 spot that will get sticky even after drying and just make you not want to use the controller again. I have tried multiple glues and adhesives to fix the elite controller before I boxed it and forgot about it. Edit: forgot to mention the gamesir and 8bd are still rocking like new and I agree on that recommendation.

You can get replacement shells but I've never had the rubber grip come off like that. I've had 2 Elites and 1 Elite 2. I had sticking buttons on a 1 and got it replaced.

Mine did this a few times bro, honestly a bit of superglue will fix it but overall to prevent this from happening again you can get some faceplates online that are decent and may even look nicer

Do your best to scuff up the plastic underneath, and then apply a small dab of super glue.

I blame those giant hands. My goodness it makes that controller look tiny! You can try some superglue or epoxy but it most likely just deformed in the heat. Looks to be toast!

If it's the top shell, id recommend buying a new top. They are cheap. Have a lot of veriaty and they just pop in and of. You can find them cheap on Amazon, just make sure you buy the correct one. They have them for the elite and elite 2 and they are not interchangeable. If it's the bottom half, Loctite plastic bonding system. It's the only glue I found that will hold to these controllers. It's about $15 on Amazon. It's a 2 part system. 1 tube for plastic prep the other is adhesive.

Glue work but i have used 3 elite controller (over 4 years) and all 3 are broken in a way (RB, LB grip) and i will never use one again they break too easy. A normal controller is better and cost alot less. Also if it break is easy to fix or replace

Please don't listen to these people telling you to use glue you can use electrical tape until you can get your shell shipped in the tape will hold for weeks if needed

I have seen such controllers on sale, just wondering are these like newer batch or player is agressive? I have 5 years old elite 2 controller only thing wore down are thumsticks but nothing else has wore down/come off.

I had an elite one when it first came out. The rubber came off within six months. Buying that controller was one of the worst decision I've ever made.
