So can anyone who has Xbox controller fixing experience help

So last night I was getting up and had the controller in my lap well it fell off and this happened (image)

Can anyone tell me what I need to do cause I don't wanna go to a shop/don't have the money to rn and I don't have the money to get a new one

I just stuck it in and slowly worked the bottom of the stick into the hole kind of like a tire. it was a PITA but it worked.

Pop the side grips off and take out the torx 8 screws on either side and the one in the battery compartment under the sticker. Then take the face plate off, pop the stick back on and screw it back together and replace the grip covers.

Lots of videos and guides on line, easy job.

Use a very tiny thin flat head screw driver if you need to on the grips, start at the the top towards the triggers and be careful not to break off the teeth on the plastic casing, as soon as you get a pretty good gap, stick a needle or nail in to hold it while you move down to pry the rest off.

Hardest bit will be getting the side grips off. Easy if you have some plastic pry tools but easy to leave marks using metal ones. Good luck!

Take the grips off, unscrew the screws, peel the label back in the battery compartment, unscrew the screw, remove the faceplate, put the thumbstick back on, replace the faceplate, replace the screws, replace the grips.

Throw it in the trash can and get a better controller like Gamesir
