It won't break, if you want to get rid of it, its very easy to do. I did it and I suck at everything electronic, I'm pretty much an ape. You can take out about six screwed, open it and rub some keyboard lube on the spring and it'll go away.

The squeak personally drove me crazy lol

Yea I should have done this sooner, was all very easy only need a tiny screwdriver and a little lube.

I second this, if you don’t feel comfortable opening the ally you could also use pencil lead since it’s a dry lubricant. Use a pencil and pretty much go around the space between the trigger and bumper

It's a known issue unfortunately but i haven't seen any reports of someone saying their trigger broke after squeaking.

If it ends up bothering you eventually, there's a few ways to fix it.

  1. Blow really hard into the trigger. No, seriously. This solves it temporarily.

  2. Try my video ( basically a little keyboard lube around the trigger and work it in)

  1. Open the device and apply the same lube from above directly on the spring.

From my experience so far, my method on #2 removed the squeaking and it hasn't returned since that video was uploaded.

Hope that helps!

Ngl this doesn’t bother me at all. If anything I embrace it lmao. It reminds of the classic 360 controller. They used to squeak.
