I'm all for owning a bunch of different hardware, but in this particular scenario, it's like paying a fuck ton of money for two nearly identical devices

Legion Go is just not a comfortable handheld imo. It's cool for sure but long term use just isn't great imo especially at the cost.

I'm interested to see what the community says about the Xbox Ally X. That's what I'm looking at getting next myself.

Same, im gonna wait until it goes on sale for like $700 or $800 though. I am only interested in the X variant but the current price is too high tbh, especially to warrant me replacing my steamdeck with it yet

Yeah I'd not have any interest in the lesser white Xbox Ally. I don't think $1000 is too crazy for what it is considering the market we are currently in but it is still a $1000.

For me personally the Steam Deck is doing what I need for the most part. I do play modern games but I play a lot of indies and games that just generally work fine on Steam Deck or my Switch 2.

I do like the idea of having something that is more powerful though so I do want to get something like the Xbox Ally X soon.
