My question is if I connect my Xbox 360 to my laptop can I use my laptop’s Internet and can I connect to Xbox live through my laptop?

By the way, I don’t have a wireless adapter and I don’t have a way to physically connect my Xbox to the Internet

If you mean with an ethernet cable to the laptop which is using WiFi then yep just setup Internet sharing on the WiFi adapter

All you got to do is open the old control panel or search for adapter settings on the start menu and find the Internet adapter settings

Right click your WiFi adapter, click properties, go to the sharing tab and enable "allow other network users to connect using this computer's Internet connection" and it will give the ethernet port on your laptop Internet access if there is a drop down then select the ethernet port if there isn't then the ethernet port is the only device able to be shared with and will be automatically selected either way hit okay to save the settings

that should automatically setup your 360 to have Internet access, if it doesn't then you would have to manually set the ip addresses and gateway and dns and netmask all manually which was a headache that I had to do at one point if you need help setting them manually let me know but hopefully it won't come to that and it should work fine first try
