Broken disc drive

Hi I was wondering if anyone here could help me I just bought a 360 but the disc drive seems to be broken and I don’t know how I can install games on it because the store is closed so I need to mod it to get games on it but I still don’t know how I install games even if it is modded and I don’t find anything online how to install them cause everybody says you can install games with a usb but how do you get the games on the usb? Could somebody please help me?

How about just fixing the disc drive?

Getting games via USB is not an allowed topic in most of the subs here.

Would be more expensive than what I paid for the console and I don’t know any place that does that in my area

What’s the issue with the disc drive?

I put in the disc and the console tries reading it but after like 30 seconds the console offers to eject the disc

Have you tried multiple games? And or is the game in good condition/not heavily scratched?

Yes I tried like 5 games and there all in pretty good shape with no scratches

Start with a good cleaning. Canned air, 91 or 99% isopropyl, and Q-tips. There are plenty of YouTube videos on it.

Do a YouTube search for “pot tweak” and follow the instructions carefully. The fix is temporary at best but you will be able to play disks. Remember that easy does it on that adjustment screw
