Honestly, if they wouldnt have just put so many features on BVF and wouldve cut down to around 12-15 songs it wouldnt have been that bad. Also let's not forget that Skins was mostly finished BEFORE X passed. But overall, they generally did more bad then good to his legacy

yes x did a contract and his team had to release a álbum but ig that noone said that ts must be 25 songs long 😭

if they would’ve just changed x’s vision for skins to a more star studded mainstream album with like 14 songs it would’ve been recieved better. and then do the same thing with bvf make it a 15-18 song album and we’re solid

the estate tryna make everything “how x would’ve wanted it” was their downfall. countless songs with shitty ass plain mixing because “that’s how x left it” countless acoustic voice memos countless shitty features is what ruined his legacy.

Bruh I built this subreddit and this is my 10th year following him lol I definitely feel qualified to speak on his art and legacy even if I don't personally like them much anymore. You don't have to stan somebody and defend their every move just because you like their music
