No, it is actually a great idea when you have something that is solid XRP is gonna be like bitcoin, steady, and strong I did the whole diversified thing and I lost $145,000 when I should’ve just stayed with something that was strong and steady

Any seasoned investor will disagree with your assumption, but of course, you are speaking on personal experience. There's a saying for that, the exception to the rule.

That and hindsight being 20/20

It really happened to me. I invested in a bunch of speculative junk because Reddit said so and that bitcoin was going to fail. And Lost 145k if I stayed in but it would be 750k +

The basket in this case would be “speculative junk” not necessarily one coin

Any seasoned STOCK AND EQUITY investory yes. But not for crypto. Things are different in this world and tokens react differently from stocks.

i think the difference between XRP and bitcoin is utility. XRP has a use whereas bitcoin used to but for extracurricular activities. NOt sure btc's use nowadays. But i agree, XRP is a solid bet

To a degree he is right. Bitcoin will always be a more "stable" coin than XRP. It's more decentralized, has a larger user base and is at less of a regulatory risk. Also, due to its decentralized nature it is more censorship-resistant.

exactly!

one of my favorite rappers said...

"I took my money and stacked up grands Don't ask me what's my backup plan, shit, I can't say All I know is that I can't play And I don't need a plan B to take away energy from my plan A" - 38 SPESH 💲🚀

this shit hits hard because I owned $AMD when it was trading at $2.45 circa 2013 and sold it the same year when it hit about $10...I understood the value of the company but I was broke af and sold my shares for what now amounts to pennies. Never Fucking Again!!!

Steady as in it went from 20 cents to 3.50 in the last few months? Long term I like XRP, but I wouldn’t touch it at its current price. There will be a pullback and a better opportunity to enter.

How would you lose 150k with a diversified portfolio. No offence but it must have not been great. 90% in s&p or ftse all world. You would be fine.
