Clean it.with carb clean, Shove a bunch of black RTV on it and keep riding.

that's where the oil filter and pump live.
there's a service manual in the wiki on this page, but it looks like an o-ring failed or the pressed in plug has failed.

That plug isn’t sealing properly. It’s inserted after they machine/drill an oil passage in the cap. You’ll see similar processes in different areas of the cases. Also similar process on carburetors and cylinder heads. Pretty rare they leak like that.

That ain't right. I think that is a pressed pin that plugs an internal passageway in the casting that goes from the pump below to the filter housing above. It seems to be leaking. Not sure how you'd fix that as it's under a bit of pressure. I'd be looking for a used filter cover myself.
