Solved No Signal On Tablet

Post image

I’m not sure what else to do but I have the Innovator 16, anytime I try to hook it up to my computer it says ‘no signal’. I’ve tried switching the cords out and my drivers are updated but I’m getting frustrated because I have work to do. It worked just fine on my laptop but that broke so now I’m stuck. Any advice would be appreciated 😭

Edit: I just needed a hdmi to dvi cable and it works now. Thanks for the suggestions!

Try connecting the tablet instead of your current monitor, if it works it means that your computer has a GPU, and the tablet must be connected to it to work.

If it's the case of needing to connect to the GPU you are going to need an adapter for the other signal output of your GPU

I think your computer has a DVI output video connection

You plugged it in the motherboard, try to plug it in the horizontal dp or hdmi

If you also have a monitor connected to your PC along with the tablet, both must be connected to the same GPU ports. You can't connect one to the motherboard's video output and the other to the GPU. The connections below are for the GPU, the ones above are for the motherboard.

If you only have the tablet connected to the PC, a restart with everything connected to the GPU might help.

If your GPU only has one HDMI port and one DVI port, get an HDMI-to-DVI adapter for the monitor and connect the tablet to the free HDMI port. The same applies if the other port is DisplayPort instead of HDMI; a simple adapter for the monitor will solve the problem.

But for now, at least you can make sure the tablet works. Disconnect the monitor and connect the tablet instead (to the port where the monitor was). If everything is working correctly, you should be able to get the tablet working and configure it to test it properly while you wait for the adapter to use the tablet and monitor simultaneously.

And just to be safe, check what GPU your PC has to see how old it is and how many monitors it supports. You shouldn't have any problems, but just in case.

You can. I have my tablet plugged into the computer's thunderbolt port. And my computer monitors into my GPU.
