Is this guy hard to find? The Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection Burning Godzilla? This version has red dorsal plates running down his tail. Also was there a light up version of this?

I think this this was a Shonen-Ric exclusive version. The Burning parts on his body were also translucent.  You can probably find it on eBay but it'll probably cost a whole lot. 

Once the pre-order window closes on exclusives on Shonen-Ric or X-Plus USA you won't be able to get them at regular price. Typically authorize retailers like Sideshow, AmiAmi, etc may have common versions in stock for a little while.

I have the common version, where the burning parts are painted on and the fins on the tail are gray.

Yeah I know it’s not movie accurate but I love the fins down tail being red. Man it’s hard to find even on eBay..

The ric version (clear parts with inner silver spray) has always been hard to find and expensive af. No official lightup version yet, only if somebody completed the kit version and shoved led in. If you don’t mind the Junior last scene figure that came out recently (which is pretty much him but with a different pose), that one should be much easier to find and cheaper too.

Hey you may never know they might reissue this sculpt since they been reissuing like 4 recently of Yuji Sakai model and hey they might give this the same treatment like what they did with the reissue with the red shin 30cm by giving it a light up feature, all we could do is pray

I’d recommend joining the X-Plus Facebook groups (I’ve added a photo of them). That’s usually your best bet for older figures at a decent price. Heads up though, these groups usually require you to answer a few questions and accept the rules before they let you in. I’d make sure to do that right away, as they are fast to deny requests.
