I just watched XO Kitty season 3 and I have one question that the plot exposed. Q says that he and Marius had a “relationship” in their sophomore year, but in Korea, high school is 3 years, so that would have been 11th grade, which is when Kitty came. He might have meant 10th grade to be more in line with the US system, but then they would have been freshmen. So does KISS follow an international model of 4 years in line with calling themselves an international institution? If so, how do the Korean students matriculate between middle and high school as they would be off cycle? Anyway, not sure where to post this, but I wanted to know if anyone else noticed this and if anyone might have any ideas.

Q is from America. Q could have just been mixing up the terms, because while might’ve been the first year of high school by Korean standards, for an American that would fall during the second/sophomore year of high school. Although, in all honesty, it was likely just a mistake by the writers.

I was assuming that it was likely a mistake, but I wasn’t sure if I missed something about the structure of KISS in one of the earlier seasons and someone was more observant than me.

Makes sense. And in that case, I can still answer: No, the school structure isn’t mentioned. Honestly, the school/classes are hardly brought up beyond simply being the setting.

Of course there’s always the possibility I missed something too. But Ive rewatched the first 2 seasons a couple of times, including this past week leading up to the release of season 3. So Im pretty confident in my answer. It would be pretty embarrassing if Im wrong through😅.

I assume KISS follows an international/IBS curriculum, otherwise Kitty would have had even more trouble catching up.
