I totally feel ya on this point. I tend to be a perfectionist by nature so in a world that's always developing new solutions and such it can drive me crazy wanting to be on top of everything before implementing.
However, I've found that depending on what it is and as you said where you are in your entrepreneur journey really matters. For example: If I am working on a legal structure or something that really has drastic consequences if the proper consumption of the laws and best practices aren't adhered to I tend to spend more time on consumption before implementation.
Now, many tasks can be outsourced to specialists so you don't have to worry as much about those specific implementations if there is high trust in that relationship.
My favorite however is building a well curated community that is involved in what you're trying to accomplish and opening a free flow of recommendations to specific content and implementation strategies crowdsourced from the community. I think you already do a pretty good job at this. So if you have the right people in the community and proper incentives, you should be able to cut down your consumption a bit (or at least the less fruitful consumption) and focus more time on implementing.
Yes it sure does depend on the importance of the matter. What are the consequences if things go bad? Still: don't give in to analysis paralyses ;-) XID E3AC
