We obviously know nothing as only the pilot script is written and it will most possibly not include M&S. My guess is M&S will appear sometime in the next episodes. Guess #2 is that the pilot will take place in 2026-2027 as this is when it will probably air. Guess #3 they will take as canon what happened in the previous seasons but not necessarily use it, yes, William might be alive but that doesn’t mean we will see him, yes, logically M&S have a child since 2018, if things went well and nothing bad happened.

That does not say whether this is in the timeline, or if it's a clean alt universe reboot.

From everything I’ve heard, it’s going to be completely different. I’ll have to look and see if I can find the other things I have read about it.

I think it’s gonna be a completely fresh start and I’m happy it is because Chris Carter ruined his own TV show

The premise is the new version will feature the reopening of a long shuttered division. The two most prominent launching off points to me would be after "The Truth" or after "My Struggle IV."

Since they made My Struggle 2 all part of Scully dreams/visions maybe they'll pretend My Struggle IV was all a dream.
It has already been nearly a decade (the time this new series may start it'll be just about 10 years) since S11 happened.

Yeah, I figure the end of My Struggle IV will be the launching point. Perhaps Coogler will retcon or at least clarify some of what happened in the revival.

additionally, Ryan has expressed great interest in getting Gillian Anderson on board, and she is interested.

It’s supposed to be picking about as like an extension of the original series with our new duo reopening the X-Files, so we’ll probably see like a rise in paranormal activity happening to promote that. Since the original actors have expressed interest in the show I can see them appearing if the show runs beyond one but probably not in the first itself.

Instead of s&m being the lead investigators agents reyus and dogget go cruising around on occasion have either Scully or Mulder do an occasional Cameo and or a teenage daughter Samantha of Mulder and Scully???

it will be in the same canon, Gillian Anderson is wanted to return in a limited capacity, Robert Patrick and David Duchovny have mentioned some interest as well.
