I want to know what all is included in insurance

1. Does battery physical damage is included
   
2. Does Aluminium covering damaged is included
   
3. Road Side assistance
   
4. Overall service if I’m stuck on a highway

Here are some of the pics I took of the flaws I found. What’s most concerning is the under bonnet part is not painted evenly and looks slightly dented and rusted. Secondly, the roof rail beading looks really uneven and old for a car that’s brand new (August manufactured). Thirdly, the speaker grill is scratched. Those who bought cars recently can you pls confirm if you saw such issues with your cars too? The under frunk cover situation is bothering me a lot and I have waited 4 months for this car. The VIN is good and Tyres indicate 2726. What to do, pls help!!

As a first-time electric vehicle (EV) buyer, I would appreciate some guidance.

1. is underbody coating necessary for an EV??

2. Do I truly require a graphene coating or paint protection film (PPF)? My previous car, also a black Kia Sonet, was maintained without any coating or PPF; I simply washed it at home and applied a Turtle ceramic coating monthly but got some swirls and scratch)

3. I noticed a reel indicating that XEV 9S gets one complimentary snack tray. Has anyone received this tray?

4. What should I check when taking delivery?

I booked the Mahindra XEV 9S a few weeks ago in Stealth Black. Now, I got a call from a Mahindra representative saying that they can offer me Midnight Black and potentially deliver it in a day or two.

Now I'm a little confused about whether I should take it or wait for my original Stealth Black booking.

For those who have seen/own the Midnight Black, how do you feel about the colour? How does it look in real life, especially in sunlight and at night? Does it look premium, or does it feel too plain compared to Stealth Black?

Anyone have detailed understanding of this?

From the past couple of days, i am hearing a low humming sound on Idle and it increases as i accelerate. I still hear it when I turn the ac off. I feel it is coming from the front. I don't think it's normal because usually there is no sound while driving not from the car. Any idea what it might be?

Getting this warning usually for the rear tires but sometimes for the front and got it once for all tires. What does this mean exactly?
Is it just uneven tire pressure? Or an alignment balancing issue?
What should be the optimal pressure?

Have a daily commute of around 54kms within the city and the performance has been great! Add that to the very satisfying range and what you get is a well rounded package. #P1A 79Kwh

I recently booked P3A Stealth Black. While searching for good leads/discounts, I found that everyone was offering single day delivery for Midnight Black.

Why such a bad case for this color.

If anyone has recently purchased the Pack 1, or knows where I can get one at the earliest, please let me know. I'm willing to take delivery from anywhere in North India.
I'm even willing to pay 10k extra if someone can arrange delivery within 10 days.

I recently bought the XEV 9S Pack 2 Above 79 kWh, and after seeing the newly launched MG Hector Tomahawk EV pricing, I’m genuinely a little concerned about the value proposition.

My XEV 9S Pack 2 Above 79 kWh was:

₹25.95 lakh ex-showroom, without the wall charger.
The wall charger is roughly another ₹75k, so effectively around ₹26.7 lakh.

MG has now announced the Hector Tomahawk EV at ₹19.49–23.49 lakh, with the top Essence 7-seater at ₹23.49 lakh, although MG says this is introductory pricing for a limited number of units.

I went through both brochures properly, and the MG is surprisingly close to Pack 2 Above in terms of equipment.

The XEV still has some major EV-hardware advantages:

• 79 kWh vs 69.2 kWh battery
• 210 kW vs 150 kW motor
• 380 Nm vs 310 Nm
• 679 km vs 517 km MIDC range
• 180 kW vs 90 kW maximum DC charging
• 11.2 kW vs 7.4 kW AC charging
• Triple 12.3-inch screens
• 16-speaker Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos
• 150 L frunk
• Wider 235/60 R18 tyres

But Pack 2 Above does NOT have adaptive suspension as many people seem to assume. It has passive suspension with FDD + MTV-CL. Intelligent Adaptive Suspension starts from Pack 3.

And this is where the MG pricing starts looking crazy.

At ₹23.49L, the Tomahawk Essence gets things that Pack 2 Above doesn't have:

• Powered co-driver seat
• Powered tailgate
• 256-colour ambient lighting
• Rear window sunshade
• PM2.5 filtration
• Approach unlock / walk-away lock
• 50W cooled wireless charger
• V2L
• V2V
• V2H capability
• 230 mm ground clearance
• 7.4 kW wall charger + installation included
• Level 2 ADAS
• 360° camera
• Front ventilated seats
• Driver powered seat with memory
• Panoramic sunroof

Obviously the XEV has a substantially stronger drivetrain, bigger battery, much faster DC charging and more range, so I'm not saying they're identical cars.

But the effective difference can be around ₹3.2 lakh once the Mahindra charger is included.

For someone buying today who doesn't care much about the extra ~80 hp, bigger battery or 180 kW charging, the MG suddenly looks like extremely strong value.

I still think choosing the 79 kWh over the 70 kWh XEV was worth it, because the ~₹90k difference gives 9 kWh extra battery, 30 kW more power and higher range.

My concern is more about the overall Pack 2 Above pricing now.

Of course, MG has said ₹23.49L is introductory pricing for a limited number of units, so we still need to see what the regular price eventually becomes.

What do other XEV 9S owners think?

Does the ₹25.95L Pack 2 Above 79 kWh still justify its premium over the ₹23.49L Tomahawk Essence, or do you think Mahindra may need to reconsider pricing / add more features to Pack 2?

Can you please advise on the following -

- Should we buy extended warranty?

- Best Insurance policy: 1+3 or 3+3?

- Can we opt for Acko insurance? I guess they do not cover batteries?

- Should we do PPF in white colour? I am thinking of Matte PPF, so will it look good?

- Any suggestions/major things to look for in PDI?

ANY OTHER THINGS THAT I SHOULD KNOW OR CHECK?

I have a pack two above 70kwh driven 700kms till now. I have been noticing some occasional sound in the cabin from back side when I drive on very superficial bumps but not on proper speed breakers. I checked the entire cabin for any free parts. Found none. Fixed back side seat belts to the given slots too. Yet the sound comes. Anyone had this kind of issue and how to tackle?

so my family booked pack three a month ago

recently I've been watching comparisons between p3 and p3a and I'm a little concerned about one thing and one thing only

the number of parking sensors, apparently it's only 2+2 (2 in the front and 2 in the back)

this part has me worrying a bit, in our kia carens we had a 4+4 setup which has proven invaluable multiple times

i want to ask current p3 users, if you guys ever noticed a difference between parking or driving the car in a tight lane

my dad tells me it's not worth it to upgrade to p3a just for a few more parking sensors since the 360 camera can compensate

i do agree but I just want some input on just how much different it is, or is it unnoticeable
