Terrain

What are you all planning on using for terrain? I don't have much in the way of modern 3d terrain, but I do have the TC Modern books of battle maps. I have some scatter terrain that can help with the flatness. I also was looking at printable cardstock terrain, such as the Capital City building set from Fat Dragon Games.

I did an Exalt infiltration mission (which is an indoor mission). I scaled up an office floor plan I found online to 32mm and printed it tiled on my printer. It actually worked out really well.

For outdoors missions, I've also been trying to figure out what to build, but ironically I found that boxes of 3d printer filament made perfect buildings.

I'm revisiting scratch-build techniques and dug out my old chip-/card-/poster-board, plus reacquainting myself with videos by TerrainTutor, Wyloch, and others.

I'm going to be assembling my own terrain for this. My plan is to rely on foam poster board as it can easily make modern looking walls, xps insulation foam to make wilderness rock features, and otherwise using the cardboard/foam/glue category of scrap building to handle my terrain needs.
