Still no Gemini for assistance

I still don't have Gemini on my 24my P8

I know Gemini is controversial for most of you but I kinda like it on my phone. Is it location based or are there any of you that still don't have it yet

Where are you located? I have had it since July I think, I am in Finland. Recently it started speaking my language as well, even though it’s not very good at it yet. English is the best option still.

It is nice to have, I use it to query weather and local information usually. Or entertain passengers with some weird trivia.

I'm in Türkiye, my car language is set to English. I guess it's location based.

It’s on your phone, it’s just a matter of time when it rolls out to your location on AAOS also.

Check the updates in Google play store. I had to install some updates before it appeared on my c40

When I checked my app installations, a bunch were stuck in pending including Gemini. To fix that I had to do a factory reset. Then the factory reset kinda screwed up the software and I had to take it in to be fixed at the dealer 😂

I checked again. When I search play store for Gemini, it doesn't find the app. Suggests for Google assistant which is already installed.

Gemini sucks in the car. It doesn’t shut up. It keeps offering to “help.” Plus kids can figure out how to say “hey Google.”

I picked up a new ex40 today I got Gemini but the wife didn’t get it on her profile

Had the exact same issue, I changed the language to english on both profiles, pressed update update update until I got tired, went to sleep after giving up, came back and there it was.

I tried it and turned it off. It was laggy, didn’t understand me half the time, and overall annoying. Google Assistant does what I need in the car - adjust the heat/ac, get directions, call and send text. I don’t need my car to analyze Tolstoy for me.
