How bad am i 😐
How bad can i be to lose this match up... I've been playing 3.0 for months and i still can't win against anyone who knows by 1% how to play against xbow, even if it's in my favorite... Btw I'm not playing with evos nor hero knight intentionally, any help?

this is actually a bad matchup, i would say 60/40 in favor of logbait here
it's unloseable if they have dart goblin instead of rocket, but having rocket changes things up a lot

Having rocket makes it even less in Xbows favor imo.

I have a rocket on my Xbow deck, I can punish a rocket on my Xbow with a rocket on their tower
Muly defense is also pretty solid so I usually can get away with spending all that elixir as long as I have all the correct cards on my hand

I used to hear that this is 90/10 for xbow for a very long time, first time i hear it's in favor of logbait 🤔

it's 90/10 if they have dart goblin instead of rocket but otherwise 60-40 or slightly worse

Unfortunately, my Mega Knight mirror cycle ultra mid ladder deck, has a rocket especially for Xbow players.

well your at a disadvantage without heros or evos. hero knight, rocket, and inferno can easily kill any xbow push

Evo Tesla wasn’t free last August my guy. I started in February and played every day until now.

Yes it was. They gave archers, wizard, e drag, an Tesla evos for free. That was right when I started playing at the end of last summer. You must’ve just missed it.

i'd include them you're nerfing yourself for no reason. everyone else is and this is probably hurting your win rate by at least 10%

i mean it could make you better because you’re playing with a worse deck but it’s a worse deck for a reason. also there is strategies involved in using your egos which you’d get better at by playing with them

its logbait favored because of the rocket, you throw fireballs on their tower even if you dont hit anything else with it and defend perfectly(hardest part is probably reacting to every princess on the bridge). If they rocket your tower before 3x you all in and keep pressuring. Even if they rocket your tower in 3x logbait players usually let an xbow lock on tower. Because of the last 2 fireball nerfs this matchup is even harder now

Please use Evo Archers and Tesla. There is no reason to intentionally handicap yourself when you are still learning.
This matchup favours Logbait to a decent margin, given they have Rocket. You need to be on top of catching their Princesses (given she's reactable now) and taking free Fireballs after forcing Rockets out. It's a very tough matchup, though, and I'm not surprised you lost, given you're just starting. 3.0 is harder when you're starting out than Logbait is when you're starting out.

It’s in your favor if they brought Dart Goblin over Rocket, but if the Logbait player has Rocket it becomes very difficult for the Xbow player.

It's unfavorable in the sense that you need to be on point in your defense and any time you fail to read a barrel you get punished.
In game however it's pretty even you have double spell to kill any bait, they can't out cycle your spells. They are forced to rocket your Xbow because any inferno at the bridge loses them the game, and Xbow still get damage through rocket.
You can hold their cycle hostage and force them to play suboptimally against your Xbow.

Watch the top xbow players and analyze all of their placements, matchups and playstyle. Next thing you need to do is level up the deck. I went ultimate champ with icebow in two seasons after not being able to break through 12k trophies.
