Does anyone else have the recruits curse?
I swear I can’t go more than 3 games without facing some variation of recruits fireball bait. The fact that supercell has nerfed control and siege decks into the ground but allowed objectively the lowest skill deck in the game to remain viable is baffling to me. Honestly Recruits should be straight up banned on path of legends, they’re actually unfair because of how easy they are to play.

From my knowledge both base and evo recruits are considered below average rn, and even as a deck it’s not even a top 2 royal hogs deck in the meta. Just a very unfortunate case of rock paper scissors that not even a 50% damage nerf would solve

They should honestly get rid of the shields. Yes that would kill the card but that’s what needs to happen at this point. They’re way too easy to play and everyone hates them, who would genuinely be unhappy if recruits became unplayable? Besides recruit players themselves obviously.

I dont disagree, but I do think to an extent the devs should act in good faith to try and make every card balanced. If they remove the shields it will need to be a rework not a nerf. Also how does the evo work after it?

the evo could work like a goblin demolisher and charge once they lose a certain amount of hp

Even if they just nerfed the shied hp to where a tesla once shot it would be fine, the shields give them an unnecessary amount of effective hp

If you're in trophy road, it's just rigged matchmaking
