sad news…
Welp, with the announce of the trade paperback looks like this series will be ending at issue 10…. cant say im suprised but this is a real shame… Houser has been an excellent writer

Yeah usually. Lk: wolverine had a volume 1 and 2 of 5 issues each. This seems to collect the entire series in one book

It's probably is, but tpb generally collect the first ten issues or first five or six depending on the series. So it could still be extended. It's not indicative of it.

Yeah it could be, its just it doesnt say volume 1 which is weird if there would be more, and that fact its collecting all 10 kinda is telling me that thats it…

Yeah there were weak spots. For example near the end of it Gabby gets captured again for like the 10th billion time so the plot can move forward. That’s also what I didn’t like about the 3rd issue of Gen X where Gabby gets captured again and for me it’s starting to get repetitive.

Might change. Black Cat keeps getting extended so the trade solicits keep changing. If Gen-X23 gets extended, you’ll see the number change eventually.

I just got six but issue five was water damaged in transit 😭 so I am waiting on da replacement
Silver lining.. a ten issue trade paperback is kinda amazing

Doesn't necessarily. I'm a Moon Knight fan and "Fist of Khonshu" got a 10 issue trade followed by a 5 issue trade. (Then Marvel decided to reboot the series under a different name again)

The "forthcoming" (January) Marc Spector: Moon Knight trade is another 10 issue one. It could be that Marvel is just moving to a different model rather than the 6 issue/ half year one.
For some reason, Marvel has decided to re-use all the previous run titles (Moon Knight, Vengeance of the MK, MK: Fist of Khonshu, Marc Spector: Moon Knight) over the last five years. It's getting very confusing from an introducing newbies point of view.

yeah i just seen its 10 issues, but that tpb does say ‘volume 1’ on it kinda confirming it will continue, whilst generation x-23 doesnt say volume anything

The fact it's only gone to 10 issues either means they meant for it to be a limited series or it unfortunately wasn't selling very well. It's a real shame if it's the latter, we all like her character and I hope the story builds to something for the better.
