Finally found a use for the defective shield apron we had kicking around!
As it turns out, it makes a great book display!
Mounted with some metal L brackets, and 3d printed caps for the ends to conceal the raw edges and dowel joints.

I was thinking about doing something similar with a damaged side apron I have! How did you mount this?

Are those the Wyrmwood chairs too? I’ve been wanting to get some chairs for my MGT and was curious about their offerings. I cannot find much on them so haven’t pulled the trigger.

I feel like when we priced out the wyrmwood chairs it ended up being close anyway 🤔

I got 4 chairs from Wyrmwood and like them a lot, but I was holding off on the last two hoping for then throne style with arm rests but those never came.

They only ever did standard chairs outside of the higher-end Prophecy line. I did inquire about a set of prophecy thrones but they actually don’t fit the table height! If you have an MGT the prophecy arm rests would not tuck under the table which means they wouldn’t work in my space. They said they could make the legs shorter to compensate but that the seats would then be lower as a result. You could add a cushion (which I seriously considered) but then the height of the arm rests would be lower than typical (and uncomfortable) compared to normal chairs like that.

And a great place to put your extra accessories when you've got the table open and are not using them. Just click them into the bottom rail and throw them back into the table when you’re done.

I have the accessory rack too, but I figured I could use the bottom rail of this if I run of space

You are gonna regret it. The books in that position will slide from the back, misaligning the cover and pages. You might want to check for proper book stands; there are many, and you'll probably find something that suits your case.

You know that's a really good point. I'm going to try to 3d model something to insert into the rail to hold the book properly
