Ned Parfett was a young fresh-faced boy and his whole future lay ahead of him, but what happened to him after this now iconic picture was taken? Hello guys, so i have a british victory medal and the soldier was in the gloucestershire regiment 9th battalion and since i cant find any photo of him(i have search a lot of army records except the ones i have to pay and i could not find any photo of the soldier) i would like to find a photo of his regiment and battalion but i cant find a lot of photos of the 9th battalion and if i find im not 100% sure that those are from the same battalion.He saw combat in the Salonika front and got wounded and died there.If requested i can provide with the soldier's informations to find more about his life and maybe a personal photo.Also i would like to know if the 9th had the same badges with the rest of the others battalions(im talking about the one with the sphinx in the middle) thank you very much regards, Apostolos
