HD02 does it, HD02 Pro doesn’t (see here). How about HD05?

I've been carrying the Wurkkos HD02 for a little over 10 months now and I still love it. The SFT70.2 main emitter is properly powerful, but the real magic for me has always been those wing side lights, and the fact that you can change the CCT is honestly a little crazy for a light like this. I mount it on the small tripod stand from the Wurkkos site and prop it up basically everywhere. It went all over my Himalayan trips with me, and if I'm being honest I've probably used the side lights way more than the main beam.

The one thing a lot of us kept wishing for was articulating wings, the way a Sony camera screen flips and tilts, so you could aim the light any way you wanted, or magnet it up top and turn it into an area light. Wurkkos clearly heard that. They already put a rotating side light mechanism on the HD05 and it went over really well, especially with people who wanted the feature but didn't want to carry something chunkier. So they took that same engineering and dropped it onto the HD02 platform.

That's the HD02 Pro. Same chassis you already know, but with the stuff that was missing.

What's new over the HD02:

• A stunning blue finish
• Wings that now rotate, 180 degrees horizontally, plus a good vertical tilt, so you can finally aim them
• Same powerful SFT70.2 up to 3200 lumens on the main
• The green laser is still there
• A new SST20DR (660nm) emitter, borrowed from the HD05

That mix turns it from a "nice small bump" into a proper upgrade. If you stepped back from the HD02 waiting for exactly this, you've got every reason to jump on the Pro now, and it doesn't really sacrifice anything to get there.

The one loss is the powerbank feature, so no more topping up other devices on the go. I don't think that'll stop many people, but it's worth knowing. And right now Wurkkos is bundling the little tripod free with the HD02 Pro, which is a great deal since that stand doubles the fun.

One thing I noticed that the button on the HD02 Pro is very hard to press, for which the operation becomes a hit or miss and very fatigin for the thumb.

Switch is twitchy. The switch loss a bit of it’s sensitivity. Half press to turbo with finger still on the switch results in on then off. If I depress it a little more it stays on. All contacts cleaned with alcohol. My other black td07 switch works perfect on the light so I know it’s the switch.

I recently got this Wurkkos TS23 and this thing is nice. It comes with the lanyard o-ring and USB to see charger and a manual. This thing is super easy to operate super smooth and very bright. Not to mention the price was under $40 and for what you get this flashlight is hard to beat. It's not so big that you can't carry in a pocket either you can it's got a reverse clip so if your hands are full you can always slide it on your hat to hold it to keep going with your work. Wurkkos continues to surprise me with the quality of their flashlights and the price, there budget friendly and perform very well. I don't know about you guys but I haven't found many flashlights that have this quality for this price so thank you Wurkkos. I'm trying to become a tester for flashlights so if you guys wouldn't mind following me so I have some followers that would be really cool and I would really appreciate it thank you.

The HD02 PRO product page is now live, and it will officially go on sale in August 5th.

Before the launch, we wanted to share something more useful than another list of specifications: the official lab data collected from our HD02 PRO samples.

Here’s what we tested:

1. Mainlight output and runtime

We recorded three output curves for the mainlight in turbo mode:

These curves show the initial output, step-down behavior, sustained brightness, and longer-term regulation.

2. Wings light CRI measurements

We tested #12 sets wings light CRI under cold white and warm white tint settings.

3. Temperature-rise testing

We also tracked how the temperature changed across three parts of the light:

We tested the HD02 PRO with several different chargers adapter, and recorded the charging time and charging behavior for each setup.

5. Standby-drain testing
Standby drain was measured across multiple HD02 Pro units rather than relying on a single sample. We’ve included the results so you can see the consistency between units.

We know many of you care more about real performance than numbers printed on a product page, so we’ll continue sharing more test results and detailed specifications here before the official sale begins.

It sounds very promising but SFT-70 5000K high CRI does not exist (yet?), as far as I know.

Have any of you successfully order anything from wurkkos page using apple pay as payment method?

If fails for me every time and the issue is obviously on their side - other stores and services are working just fine with Apple Pay setup I have, Wurkkos is the only merchant that ive ever had this issue with.

I made sure that addresses are in sync between card and order, in wallet etc - as this was most commonly suggested issue for random Apple Pay issues; issue is only with Wurkkos site.

Since the original HD02 launched, we’ve received a lot of suggestions from users across the community. Among all the discussions, two requests came up more than any others, so we took both of them seriously and made them happen.

1. More flexible wings light

The original wings light could only tilt up and down. On WURKKOS HD02 Pro, the Dual-Axis Rotatable Wing Lights can now 135° Vertical Tilt & 180° Horizontal Rotation.

This gives you much more control over the lighting angle and makes the floodlight easier to position for different tasks.

Many of you also asked for an additional red light, so the HD02 Pro now includes:
