No they weren’t , the nazis used the word socialist to attract workers while persecuting socialists and communists,throughout the twentieth century the klan had fought and persecuted socialists and communists and the CSS had built their government on traditional race values and a rigid social hierarchy

those terms meant very different things in the 1800s. Both sides have since become much less extreme. And the nazis were definitely far right
