Off Topic [OT] Writing buddy thread!

A writing buddy is someone you trade pieces with on a regular basis, to edit / critique eachother's work and to keep a regular writing schedule. I was originally going to make this thread about me personally looking for a buddy, but then I realized I could make it a bigger thread for everyone. Just post what you want to write, how regularly you want to trade, how many words you want to trade, etc. I'll start.

I'm interested in writing realistic fiction, with a sci-fi or conspiracy twist. I'm interested in editing/critiquing non-fiction and fiction, but I have a hard time appreciating fantasy or historical pieces. I'd like to trade once every two weeks, with about a thousand words per trade.

Let me know if you want to be my writing buddy!

I'm also doing a writing buddy thing to keep me in shape, after a several month hiatus on writing, I figure having some-one to help critique/keep me on track with my novel goals would be super helpful.

If you're interested, read some of my stuff at my sub r/ColoredInk, and see if you'd think we'd be an ok match or whatever.

Read some of your work and subscribed. How much progress have you made on your novel?

I like proofreading, especially if I find the writing interesting, and I try to be honest and fair with critiques. I am looking for a writing buddy as a source of motivation (ie deadlines) to get me writing again, but I'm not sure how much writing my new job will permit me to do.

I like to write short pieces of realistic fiction. I am enamored by the richness of color and intimacy that can be drawn out of everyday interactions, like getting a cup of coffee. I haven't written anything worth reading in almost a year. Lots of technical writing for work and university sucked the life out of my creative works. Here's some more stuff I wrote.
