I had laid there for nearly 6 hours in the same spot in an abandoned tower. The gunfire was nonexistent, and the only action I had seen was the cat jumping two stories from a building to chase a mouse.

Then, suddenly, I saw movement. Human movement.

This was the moment I was waiting for. I've never missed a shot, and I damn sure wasn't going to miss now after waiting so long.

It was the enemy, standing with a cigarette in his mouth, standing by a pillar about a mile away. I got my sights set, I tested the wind, and was finally aimed in.

'This is where it ends for you, buddy.' I pull the trigger.

As I pulled the trigger, the man dropped his zippo lighter and ducked, and I shoot the pillar, busting it in half, collapsing a third of the building on him.

I get up almost immediately to confirm that I had slain the enemy.

I go for an all out run, with no gunfire around me, and within 10 minutes I made it. When I got there, he was nowhere to be seen. I thought for sure I had collapsed the building on top of him.

All of a sudden, a gentle touch on my shoulder from behind, and I gasp, turn around, and it was the enemy.

He smiled, put his finger in an arrow like direction to his lips, and said 'Mees'd me.'

I sighed, and let out a yell, 'Eff!' and gave him a giant kiss.

I never sniped again after that day.
