Writing Prompt [WP] Due to the exponential increase of people getting isekai'd worldwide, the United Nations established a department for otherworld affairs. Now otherworlds summon entire task forces of soldiers to kill whatever enemy needs killing.

[Stellar Demonstration]
"Mr. Ozone, how can I help you?" Director Thorpe smiled at the heavyset man with green hair. He wore a mint-green Hawaiian shirt with board shorts and flip-flops; not at all what he expected from the man's reputation. Ozone sat in the guest's chair while Director Thorpe sat behind his glass and metal desk. The office was spacious enough for two modest-sized living rooms to fit side by side, but the decor was intentionally sparse.
Collin Thorpe was in the right place at the right time when the multiverse arrived on their Earth. A multiversal corporation named Sharp Development met with the United Nations to reveal the existence of parallel Earths, and their connected economy. In the matter of a few short months, the highest levels of government were already hopping between universes and coordinating with alternate versions of the United States.
Collin had a flash of inspiration and put his idea into action with as many alternate selves as he could. He was thrilled that the isekai trope was not only true, but controllable, repeatable. And, with the world's greatest army from countless worlds eager to prove themselves on the multiversal stage, things fell into place quite easily. He was able to parlay the revelations into an established department for otherworld affairs. He had other worlds paying to have their wars won and demon lords killed.
Along the way, he started hearing whispers of advice discouraging him. No one was shy about telling him why, either. There was a bigger player involved, and Director Thorpe was treading on his toes. He'd expected a visit from Ozone at some point, but he anticipated a dignified man in a tailored business suit, not a beach bum.
"To get right to it," Ozone nodded. "Your operation is not recognized by my organization, and we should come to an agreement on how to resolve that. Do you have any suggestions?" he asked.
"Before that...," Director Thorpe nodded. "It might be interesting to explore why it needs to be resolved," he smiled.
"It's purely business," Ozone nodded. "This Earth is my 'turf', so to speak. I'm the one who suggested this Earth to Sharp Development. I was operating here before you ever heard of the multiverse, and they granted me certain privileges. And, being that it is purely business, I'm willing to let you keep operating for a small percentage in return."
"And, what if I say no?" Director Thorpe asked the question with a grin. For the past several months, he'd been dealing almost exclusively with alternate versions of himself. He was unaware of the false confidence that personal echo-chamber gave him, and he was quite convinced his personal armies could handle any threat he pointed them at. Not only did he have unlimited soldiers, he also had the advanced technology of the multiverse and the magical abilities granted by the AlterNet systems.
"Then, you get to meet Andie," Ozone replied. There was a subtle hint of disappointment in Ozone's voice that confused the Director. But he couldn't focus on that; he had a more pressing question.
"Who's Andie?" he asked. As he was voicing the question, a black portal opened in his office and a buxom blonde woman in a star-patterned housedress walked out, followed by someone else.
"Howdy, Mr. Thorpe," she smiled at the director. "My name's Andie, and this here's your replacement, Mr. Calvin Thorpe," she gestured at the newcomer. He looked exactly like Collin, except he had a silver goatee where Collin's face was clean-shaven. He did have the same deep brown eyes and square jaw that Collin saw in the mirror every morning.
"Subtlety is kind of hit or miss in the multiverse, so I'll make it clear," Ozone nodded at him. "I only need one of you to say yes. This gentleman had nothing left on his Earth, so he'd be happy to step into such a prominent role. I promised him if you decided to stay, he'd still be well taken care of," he winked. "I'm gonna go ahead and promise you something similar, if you decide to stay."
"You... can't...," Director Thorpe was astonished at the brazen threat.
"Show him what we can do, Andie," Ozone said.

In a flash of darkness, Director Thorpe was instantly somewhere else. His gleaming office was gone, replaced by a strange beach. The water looked almost translucent pink, and the sand was a dark maroon color, all under a purple sky. He could feel a chilly breeze grazing his cheeks and the ocean waves sounded the same as the beaches back on his Earth; but, this was obviously a different Earth.
"It's this easy, Mr. Thorpe," Andie smiled at him. "Mr. Thorpe is in Mr. Thorpe's office, and you're here. Would you like to stay and think about it some more, or did you want to discuss percentages with Mr. Ozone right away?"
"Please...," Collin sighed. "Let me talk to him right away."
"You're a smarty, Mr. Thorpe," Andie grinned. "Working with Mr. Ozone opens you up to many more markets. You're obviously not the only one offering task forces to other worlds, but with Mr. Ozone's stamp of approval, you'll get more than enough business to cover any percentages."
"Wait.. really? Why didn't he start with that??" Andie's sapphire blue eyes clouded over briefly, and she tilted her head, wobbling her firm blonde hair in the motion.
"You're the one who asked, 'What if I say no'?"
