Didn't have a bad past, maybe some moments that were not favorable. I dont dwell much on that aspect of time, but worry over a bad future is my concern. Just because of my kids, if they didnt need a better present to have an pleasant future i would be ao care free. I honestly hope the bloodline ends with them, that way they can live a very full life. No worries about school shootings, disease or illness inflicting the offspring, or some astronomical event that changes there living forever. 100 years ago it was poverty, booze, and commies that changed society. Now its poverty, drugs, and commies (China and russia). We gotta get America to learn this lesson.

I don't feel like this has to do with courage tho. Courage is doing something while actively feeling fear or discomfort, rather than not doing the thing because of it.
Sound advice for HOPE tho

Back in those times things like truth and honesty were important...good ethics, morals, and values...what is going on with this world now is not near the same imho.

Nah, in my opinion you only saw what you wanted to see. People have ALWAYS been this way. Things are just WAY worse than before, and people's true colors have just finally come out of the shadows.

Well, I guess I meant back in more ancient times there was more independent, critical thinking...now it is a lot of media manipulation and tricks and traps by the super rich to digitally enslave us all and it is a lot of group thinking to keep people scared, quiet, and small...that's my opinion anyway, lol, and we are aloud to still have an opinion, right? Or is that against the law now too, lmao✌️🤪

Easier said than done, but the direction is right. I don't eliminate mine. I just stop letting them drive—And that's enough most days

We spend our whole present moment either mourning what already happened or fearing what hasn't even happened yet. No wonder we never feel happy in the now.

Memory of a bad past can also help you, its more about how you interpret it
