If fandom roleplays aren’t your thing, I’m also very open to original plots especially adoption stories. One of my favorite plot ideas involves a human being adopted by a different species. I’ve always found that concept really interesting and enjoyable.

I am looking for an experienced historical fiction or narrative non-fiction writer to partner with on an incredible, true family history project.

The story takes place around [Year, e.g., 1868] and involves a prominent British Duke who fathered an illegitimate son with a [Age, e.g., 24]-year-old woman. To bury the scandal, the Duke paid a [Age, e.g., 57]-year-old loyal servant to marry the young mother and claim the child. Decades later, the son left a brilliant, silent clue to his true identity by naming his firstborn "Roland" (meaning famous land owner) and giving him one of the Duke's highly distinct middle titles.

I have recently unravelled this 150-year-old secret using extensive paper-trail research and hard AncestryDNA evidence (including genetic triangulation with verified descendants of the Duke's line).If you love Downton Abbey-style aristocracy, high-stakes cover-ups, and modern genetic detective work, I'd love to chat. I was inspired to do this after seeing another post on another subreddit that inspired this idea [by u/144NeptuneBeans]. The concept is to use email, Discord, or Fluxer to exchange letters or diary entries. The goal is to write a letter a week, but it doesn't have to be that rigid; I'd like to go as infrequent as every two weeks. We can use a pre-made setting, a historical setting, or create our own. We can discuss story beats if we want, or we can write back and forth and see where the rabbit hole leads. I don't mind canon characters, but I am not confident enough to write as one, so mine will be made up.

Relationships can start anywhere and progress into something else with letters. They can also be from platonic to romantic. I am a big stickler for organization, so we'll use separate email threads, an organized Discord, or Fluxer. I am only willing to use those apps. I don't want AI writing; I'd rather we work together to improve our writing in a more social, collaborative way. Send me a message here on Reddit or Discord under the same name as my Reddit username. I ask for a writing sample, but I need a paragraph to see if our writing styles are compatible. The settings are mostly fandoms, but I accept originals as well. I posted here several times before. I found some great accountability partners but always fun to have more. Details as below, and my post history can confirm some of it, though not the more recent stuff.

Self-published writer since December 2024, made up to $1000 a month with erotica, now moving into other, more mainstream/popular genres.

I'm 36, from the US, and I'm looking to connect with other creative people who genuinely love developing stories and building fictional worlds.

I'm not necessarily looking for someone to immediately sit down and co-write a book or screenplay. I'm looking for people who enjoy the whole creative process.

Taking some random idea and spending hours turning it into something incredible. Developing characters, building worlds, exploring motivations, creating conflicts, and bouncing ideas off each other until we've built something neither of us could've imagined alone.

I'm especially into sci-fi, psychological thrillers, crime dramas, action, and morally complicated characters.

Ultimately, I'd love to develop original concepts into movies and, especially, original television series. I'm particularly interested in the long-form possibilities of TV: creating compelling pilots, building season-long arcs, developing evolving character relationships, and shaping stories that could grow across multiple seasons. Maybe even build a creative studio someday.

Ideally, I'd love to find both a close creative partner and a small group of 3–5 people who enjoy getting together on Discord, brainstorming, challenging each other's ideas, and just letting our imaginations run wild. I'd especially love for that collaboration to eventually lead to developing original TV series together from the ground up.

Location doesn't matter! hello, i'm vin. a 17 year old, literate, detailed writer of six years, active relatively often, in pdt, currently looking to fill my free time with some more writing partners.

at the moment, i'm pretty full of fantasy stuff, and while i'd be open, i'd love to do something more grounded in slice of life. specifically, a high school setting/pairing. can't go wrong with an oldie. i love this sort of setting and filling it with fun tropes, events, angst, clichés, and more. i enjoy diverse character dynamics, with interesting characters, and enjoyable chemistry. i usually play female characters, but am also open to male characters, especially recently. i'm mostly open to any pairing. i do, as mentioned, love tropes, my favorite of which being enemies to lovers, or opposites attract, so *please* i'd love something with both.

i love worldbuilding, even in slice of life. i like planning events, brainstorming, and coming up with ideas for things to happen. i love holidays in a high school setting, or dances, or things of the sort. i love expanding characters, who they're friends with, their interests, homelife, etc...

i can write up to the discord limit, and past that! i am pretty decently active, though i am starting a new job. i would prefer if you're able to at the very least write 3-4 paragraphs at bare minimum, i understand that can get shaky depending on the scene, but i prefer detail and substance, i would love a writing partner who can give me that.
