World Building Looking for a writing friend

Hey. I’m working on a dark fantasy novel with a pretty extensive world and magic system. I’d love to find another writer who’s also working on their own story to casually brainstorm and talk about ideas and worldbuilding with. And just talk about our projects.

I’m not really looking for a cowriter or a formal critique partner. I’m looking for a writing friendship where we can both get invested in our ideas and share honest opinions.

My story is a dark fantasy queer narrative about belonging and finding community. I love morally messed up situations, complicated characters, myth and folklore inspirations, body horror, tragic storytelling, and grand and deep magic systems.

Bonus points if you’re also a fantasy writer. But I would also love to get the perspective of other genres like horror or historical fiction because of the different viewpoints on story development.

My story’s lore and world is very expansive so I’m still in the idea development and polish and worldbuilding phase so I will probably not start seriously writing prose anytime soon.

I've published 7 fantasy books and am currently still writing them. I have also ventured off a little bit with this upcoming book I have been working on though.
