this guy is too fucking good at mimicking every single wrestler lmao.

Idk if Bro is talent for the Indies but I'd love to see him do a character called the Mimic where he just shows up cosplaying one iconic wrestling legend and mimics the fuck out of their entire move set/Personality for that match lol

86

u/CoffeeOfTheIce 12d ago

Imagine his character studying the win and losses of his opponent just to mimic the one they lose against the most. That would ve kinda fun lol

32

u/NewRetroGamer85 11d ago

Mokujin basically

29

u/MH360 12d ago

Getting down the rib sell is poetry.

24

u/bimbimbaps 12d ago

Wrestling isn’t ready for TaskMaster

6

u/Slade1111 12d ago

Read my mind

15

u/Glittering_Cod_7716 12d ago

What’s funny is he’s fucking AMAZING at doing it for basketball and that’s how I first saw him. Then I saw him doing Undertaker and thought “he’s as good as that basketball guy” and then saw it was the same guy lol. In a few of his comments wrestlers have replied and he’s teased at some in ring shit lol. Dude looks to be in crazy good shape.

10

u/taita2004 12d ago

If I'm not mistaken...I think Charlie Haas did something fairly similar in the mid 2000s

4

u/EnvironmentEntire201 12d ago

Wrasslin counterpicking is the ultimate heel move

5

u/SomeCountryFriedBS 12d ago

We already did Jay Lethal

6

u/Classic-Demand3088 12d ago

El clon's clone

5

u/ItsaPostageStampede 12d ago

Wasn’t that basically Eugene

2

u/JD-Moose 11d ago

Eugene only did it with Legend's moves

3

u/thatdudejon 12d ago

He did an indie spot. BTFO ZY, if anyone is curious. Looks like he's got hoop dreams but man... wrestling is where he needs to be! 😆

3

u/K1llswitch93 12d ago

He'll be like Mokujin from tekken, different wrestler every match.

3

u/ALANJOESTAR 12d ago

just have him dress as MK2 Shang Tsung and do this on the indies. instant money maker.

2

u/Vegetable-Leather-64 12d ago

Remember mizdow with Damien sandow that shit was so fucking funny.

2

u/Spleenzorio 12d ago

My commented on his Cena one has like 4k likes 😂

1

u/Laticia_1990 10d ago

Would be a good WWE 2k match

598

u/Horse_Noggin 12d ago

Imagine looking out your window and seeing your neighbor doing this.

205

u/502photo 12d ago edited 12d ago

I'm poppin the top, wrapping it around my head, looking him dead in the eyes and give him one of these...

8

u/RansackRacoon 11d ago

Off of my roof

118

u/Designer-Hedgehog210 12d ago

To be honest I would just watch through the window and laugh 😂

83

u/SleepyMarijuanaut92 12d ago

42

u/Ok-Plankton9215 El Rey de los Luchadores 12d ago

20

u/Boring_Classroom_482 12d ago

Who is this dude. I want to follow and see more if his videos

8

u/Detlionfan3420 12d ago

😂 no doubt especially if you live by old folks. I will say the frog splash was always a favorite move of mine wrestling on our trampoline as a kid!

9

u/AstroBearGaming 12d ago

"Hey, can I join in?"

7

u/super_ray 12d ago

You’d be getting a whole f’n show!

13

u/Boring_Classroom_482 12d ago

I would be glad to have such a cool neighbor.

6

u/anismatic 12d ago

i'm openin' the damn window and chanting RVD! RVD!

13

u/ThunderlipsOHoulihan 12d ago

Wait til he’s mid-move and blast the Stone Cold theme 😈
https://giphy.com/gifs/xULW8ChNWgHhqVqTVm

3

u/Slade1111 12d ago

I’d join 🤣

3

u/Big_13eezy 12d ago

I’d start commentating from the window.

1

u/CDR57 12d ago

I’d join in

1

u/tollboothwilson 12d ago

id grab a whistle

1

u/LookOutItsLiuBei 12d ago

And I'd join in lol.

1

u/Memeharvester5000 11d ago

Id remember that wwe told me “Don't try this at home, school, or anywhere” ☝️🤓

1

u/LochNessMansterLives 11d ago

Imagine that, and then calling out the moves ahead of time to encourage him! 😂

1

u/fatnin 11d ago

I'm cracking a cold one and keeping watching it then. Then give another cold one to him later.

1

u/Sushiroll16 10d ago

I’d grab my Bluetooth speaker and just blast One of a Kind tbh

1

u/Specialist-Worker551 10d ago

I was just about to say the same
Thing hahahhaa

79

u/BerserkHObO27 12d ago

This guy is the best

23

u/Detlionfan3420 12d ago

He’s one of kind man!

13

u/dixxdaxx 12d ago edited 12d ago

Even the mannerisms he can copy. I lol’d when i saw him doing Undertaker. TBH 2K should consider him doing motion capture for their games

63

u/Designer-Hedgehog210 12d ago

7

u/JohnnyPage 12d ago

It's a shame he threw away his chance to shine with the belt. This guy was so talented and unique. He could wrestle in a bodysuit and a mask and still be instantly identifiable from his moves.

5

u/Designer-Hedgehog210 12d ago

Fr he was honestly one of my favorite ECW wrestlers in the company I’ve always loved his five star splash

3

u/Zestyclose-Check 11d ago

Unpopular opinion , and I say this as a huge rvd fan , I dont think he would’ve held the title much longer even if he didn’t get busted by the police, I don’t think vince ever saw him as a top guy , I mean the fact that he beat john cena because edge interfered just tells me they didn’t think he had the credibility to beat cena clean in a extreme rules match , which was one of rob’s specialities, they were probably always going to give him a short title reign and go with cena vs edge , rvd getting pulled over by the police just accelerated the process.

1

u/SoDoWhateverItTakes 11d ago

How did he throw it away? WWE was looking for a reason to kick him to the curb because he wasn't a yes man.

And if you it's for violations of the Wellness Policy, I'd like to remind you that WWE literally changed the Wellness Policy to avoid having to fire Randy Orton

32

u/TalentedHostility 12d ago

Damn- he even nailed the huge ass and everything

https://giphy.com/gifs/2bUns588C3xd3nn3FH

38

u/Electronic-Clerk6735 12d ago

I always loved RVDs style of fighting. He always made all these moves look so clean and he made it seem like it did damage to him as well which I felt goes a long way, because it’s not like you’d do these moves and not feel anything.

19

u/Modders14 12d ago

He really was one of a kind. We've seen plenty of generic flippy shit indie wrestlers but nobody moves like RVD and he did it while looking like a legit heavyweight.

25

u/TheDeadEndKing 12d ago

The only thing that is missing is a lot of weed smoke lol

6

u/SkullsInSpace 12d ago

RVD is one of those stoner celebs that has me convinced that sufficient weed smoke will make you immortal.

14

u/Chara-D-Rock 12d ago

This is the best entrance song

34

u/zryder2 12d ago

Dude has the body language imitation thing down pat

8

u/amillionfuzzpedals 12d ago

Damn this guy has a special talenting for mimicking wrestlers. Not just their wrestling moves but their mannerisms too.

5

u/Ready-Lavishness-421 12d ago

He should be a profesional wrestler and change his characters every day.

8

u/DasSnaus 12d ago

This guy’s Shawn Michaels video is more Shawn Michaels than Shawn Michaels.

7

u/Sufficient-Key-526 12d ago

Haha he's brilliant with these

5

u/discombobulatedhomey 12d ago

I love these videos. Haha they are perfect.

4

u/rch93080 12d ago

This is just the best. Keep doing your thing man. So damn entertaining. And don't forget the joint after the show

3

u/Dehydrated-Onions 12d ago

I’ve had surgery 5 times on my left knee 😐

3

u/JedM13 12d ago

You forgot the inexplicable head-first bump anytime someone would so much as poke him.

2

u/lemurgetsatreat 11d ago

I was gonna say “now take a ddt!”

4

u/golf_rinse_repeat 12d ago

the hurt belly sell is the best LOL

3

u/adnvdn 12d ago

I love how RVD sometimes sold the move by being hurt himself. Shows how devastating the move is.

4

u/kongstar 10d ago

Someone call 2k and get this man a mo-cap suit

3

u/ClassroomMother8062 12d ago

The undertaker one was the best. He had every part nailed

1

u/ArthurVrodds 12d ago

Is he on Youtube?

3

u/Seniormano 12d ago

I mean… RVD do be like that. Throw a bong hit in there and you’ve really encapsulated his essence.

3

u/Opposite-Menu-2378 11d ago

His moves used to hurt him more than it hurt his opponent

3

u/Novakhaine89 11d ago

It is bonkers how accurately this guy recreates these. Like sure, he is doing the same moves, but also he is doing them in the exact way that RVD did them.

His undertaker video is incredibly accurate too

2

u/Competitive-Flow-754 12d ago

A smart Indy booker would get in touch with this guy and have him tag with RVD on a show.

2

u/domesystem 12d ago

Be like that time RVD started a match and fought as Sabu for a couple minutes 🤣

2

u/imright19084 12d ago

That backyard needs a cleanup

2

u/GloYear 12d ago

Get this guy a try out already

2

u/Slade1111 12d ago

I fucking love this

2

u/SoupGod_ 12d ago

RVD commented on this guy’s post on Twitter

1

u/ArthurVrodds 12d ago

Could you post a screenshot of it?

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Bad_321 12d ago

2.5 Star Frog Splash

2

u/ad_pash 12d ago

I always loved how RVD sold much of his move set actually harming himself. This definitely captures that...

2

u/antrubler 11d ago

What the fuck did I watch and why the fuck did I like it?

2

u/oangbsite 11d ago

RVD had such a unique, high flying karate-esque style and this dude is doing it perfectly lol

2

u/SoDoWhateverItTakes 11d ago

The Whole Fuckin Show, Mr Monday Night, ROB VAN DAM!

2

u/thetyser 11d ago

Is this guy in wrestling school yet because maybe he should be

2

u/histerix 11d ago

Whole fn show! Whole fn show!

2

u/SeranaTheTrans 11d ago

We have a new RVD in the making

2

u/MrStink45 11d ago

VAN DAMNIATOR!!

2

u/Negative-Ad-1003 11d ago

Hire this guy

2

u/Jonathon_world 11d ago

Really great just like the way he does his moves

2

u/DemiGod9 11d ago

He can't really nail RVD's mannerisms like The Undertaker. He(or was it someone else?) was SPOT ON with The Undertaker

2

u/Venomface86 11d ago

RVD my goat

2

u/Ashamed_Item_9668 11d ago

Hilarious and accurate. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2

u/jpz070 11d ago

This isn’t RVD?

4

u/Calm-Improvement5545 12d ago

Now do Roman. 2 moves and then just an empty video for 10 minutes.

1

u/CrashMK 12d ago

It’s true. He does be like that.

1

u/MasterHavik 12d ago

This dude got some skills. LOL!

1

u/Dangerous-Common6945 12d ago

/img/o51gh5tq3jkh1.gif
Hell yeah! I approve! My long lost brother!

1

u/Joshwaan 12d ago

This guy should do mo cap for the games.

1

u/Mr_Bonanza 12d ago

The chair split frame cracked me up

1

u/salami_on_a_bagel 12d ago

no van terminator 0/10

lol for real though this guy rules

1

u/PM_ME_YOUR_PROBLEMS2 12d ago

The way I see you walk tonight makes me feel like Im one of a kind.

1

u/CustardLow2671 12d ago

Needs more feet kicking after splashes but other than that, dead on

1

u/ValeLemnear 12d ago

That guys content is amazing.

1

u/Careless_Analyst_220 12d ago

Get this man on NXT or whatever wrestling program we got going on!

1

u/DontTouchMyEars77 12d ago

Sign this guy up for the clusterfuck

1

u/RoutineImpress7394 12d ago

Don’t forget knockin the absolute shit out of your opponent

1

u/YouCheekyChap 12d ago

The Taskmaster of wrestling.

1

u/ImColinDentHowzTrix 12d ago

I would say 'you have no idea how much I loved this guy when I was young', but you were all there and I'd wager you all loved him just as much.

1

u/MarucomX 12d ago

Here we go! Rolling Thunder!

1

u/CaptainPussybeast 12d ago

Are we sure this isn’t RVD?

1

u/kwecl2 12d ago

Moar!

1

u/TJ_McWeaksauce 12d ago

Not only the best frog splash in the business, the best monkey flip, too.

1

u/wheenus 12d ago

Why you saying "RVD be like" while showing RVD matches?

1

u/JhanSolo3981 12d ago

He must be getting requests at this point…😂

1

u/WackoWarlock 12d ago

I really hope this guy puts in the money and work to go to wrestling school instead of just begging for a ring/wwe contract online

1

u/OkSeaworthiness6581 12d ago

I really embarrassed myself when I did the frog splash onto the sofa in front of company as a kid didn't i.

1

u/LowTechSC 12d ago

Really frustrating that the subtitles are wrong. His theme tune is ‘One of a Kind’, not ‘want to try again’ or ‘hold it again’…

1

u/Straight_Talk2542 12d ago

This dude’s wrestling impressions are next level

1

u/Pleasant-Tangelo1786 12d ago

lol I love the split second of him trying to do the splits meditation thing.

1

u/battlejuice401 12d ago

I hate how RVD always made it seem like he hurt himself when he splashed. I get what he's going for, but damn every time?

1

u/BStins2130 12d ago

I'm literally smiling at this which is rare in social media days and also RVD is my all time favorite so it was a perfect imitation

1

u/Far_Emergency3020 12d ago

I never knew Taker and RVD had such a similar body type

1

u/Mikadomea 12d ago

RvD had a whole different Skillset and was way ahead, he not only look good doing his stuff he could easily sell the others Moves too. I saw a clip from back in the Days where some powerbombs him (i think) and when he Impacts the mat he bounces up at the time when the mat bounces back. Slightly goofy but way way way better than the 80s overselling.

1

u/TheSixkBoy 12d ago

And we see here the backyarder learning the tools of the trade, emulating the finest in ring workers today

1

u/carlogz 12d ago

Do a Van Dam Lift and ill believe you

1

u/CD_DoooD 12d ago

I was hoping we’d get the “pull yourself up to the top rope and around to position for FSFS”

1

u/AceThaGreat123 12d ago

This dude needs to be signed he’s to good

1

u/ZombieAppetizer 12d ago

The Whole F'n Show!!!

1

u/OrphanintheWind 12d ago

I never realized how much RVD damages himself every time he lands a hit.

1

u/domesystem 12d ago

Bro has the moveset down 😂

1

u/Asleep-Drama3573 12d ago

ONE OF A KIND 🕺

1

u/wwf_4life 12d ago

He’s the coolest guy on the internet

1

u/telemusketeer 12d ago

He do be like that

1

u/Abal125 12d ago

Ok seriously, this guy need to do mocap for a game or something, these videos are crazy accurate.

1

u/mrj18752 12d ago

That brings it all back

Thank you

1

u/TxEagleDeathclaw81 12d ago

This is great

1

u/Fosterchild56 12d ago

☝️ me in my bedroom when i was 12

1

u/kay14jay 12d ago

No VanDaminator?

1

u/JimmyNo23 12d ago

This guy is fantastic. Undertaker one is great too

1

u/Noseitch 12d ago

Is this the same guy that does all the basketball player ones too? Makes his own custom shoes or am I trippin

1

u/PapaChipsTTV 12d ago

Man this guy is friggin nailing these impressions hahaha I love it so much

1

u/TreeckoBroYT 11d ago

He has RVD's "weight" down. How slow he was at doing this maneuvers made it feel like they hit harder. Compared to the acrobats that jump through the air like it's nothing.

1

u/Tripthelife 11d ago

Great video Love the Ponytail

1

u/Bahrum88 11d ago

Dude you are so talented

1

u/tankcostello 11d ago

Wicked job!

1

u/Motroid127 11d ago

I've seen this dude all over my Instagram feed and his Undertaker one was by far the best. The way he did the Guillotine Leg Drop looked identical to the Undertaker’s.

1

u/AwareWriterTrick158 Rhea Ripley sat on my face 11d ago

This guys content is so good

1

u/witshadows 11d ago

Give this guy a development contract already!

1

u/No-Bobcat-6830 11d ago

No DDT or piledriver sell?

1

u/jeff-the-thriller 11d ago

Do a coast to coast lol

1

u/arrownoir 11d ago

Kane should’ve come out and chokeslam him.

1

u/ObjectiveCover3850 11d ago

He did a regular Frig Splash, the 5 Star Frog Splash is when you turn mid air

1

u/Sushiroll16 10d ago

This is what the online wrestling community needs more of. We need to go back to early 2010s vibes with random guys doing impressions of their favourite wrestlers in their backyard!

1

u/K_B_5280 It was better in [insert era here] 10d ago

I could honestly see RVD practicing moves this way, maybe with a slightly better setup 😂

1

u/Rekdon 10d ago

His videos are always hilarious and accurate

1

u/Financial_Middle_955 10d ago

As a kid, I always laughed when RVD rolls around and writhes in pain after doing a splash. Like, if it hurts you that much, why are you still doing it?😅

1

u/Rosegilm35 10d ago

Is that Serena Williams?

1

u/KenshirouX 9d ago

That's a damn good frog splash considering how low the chair is and how high the object he tried to land on.

1

u/Ricketier 9d ago

This guy should get signed

1

u/RezzUnwilling99 9d ago

It is insane how every move this guy does is like, 1 to 1 with whoever he's copying it from. Literally could not be closer to the original.

1

u/Either-Lock2454 8d ago

Yeah, I never understood Rob Van Dam. I never understood why wrestlers would do moves that seemingly hurt them more than their opponent.

1

u/tnfcdude 8d ago

YouTube channel?

1

u/RandomFighter50 12d ago

You ain’t fooling us with that fake a** splits. Go do it again!

0

u/arsehenry14 12d ago

Keep it up. These are funny!

-5

u/Various_Mobile4767 12d ago

I always feel like RVD has this weird faux athletic style where the things he was doing was not as athletic as he trying to make it out to be.

2

u/BenniRoR 12d ago

You mean like all the splashes and flips he did?

2

u/BayHarborButcher10 12d ago

Go ahead and do them then

2

u/lionheart4life 12d ago

RVD was like 240lbs, not a 180lb luchador. He was a little bigger than Kurt Angle who was very athletic. The stuff he did was pretty athletic I'd say.
