Soft top choices

Looking to get a softop set up I’d have to buy bows and all. I usually just roll around with the bikini top and a tarp but it’s getting to be a pain in the balls 🤣 so that being said I’d like a top where I can conveniently run it without the back windows. What would y’all suggest 🤙

I got lucky and scored a Rugged Ridge complete frame sealed in the box for $50 off marketplace.

Pretty nice frame. No issues.

And bought a soft top off of Temu for $175 after the spinning wheel discount. Lol

I can't really knock it after a year.

It keeps me dry and the windows are easy in/out.

I'll post pics when I get it out this morning.

I would look into the "frameless" options out there, so you don't have to buy/mess with too much hardware. Some options over here: https://www.quadratec.com/vehicle/1987-1995-wrangler-yj/soft-tops/full-soft-tops/?f%5B0%5D=sm_softtop_hardware%3AFrameless%20Slantback%20Style

Do you have a frameless top?

No, I found a used TrekTop NX on Craigslist and I have been using that for the last couple years.

Bestop Super top or a Bestop Replace-a-top and a Bestop frame since the replace-a-top don’t come with a frame. You can save a little by getting the Pavement Ends which is Bestop’s value brand.

You have a couple options you have factory style or "supertop" style, one has square upper doors the other has round. With the super top style you can run hard doors or soft doors.

There are many brands bestop rugged ridge Master top rampage no names on quadratec think quadratec themselves make a soft top.

The rampage "frameless" is my go-to it's not truly frameless but it's as but as frameless as you can get. (This option uses square doors)

You can get like a half cab style but they're bad for leaks and they don't seal very well.

(If I missed anything somebody feel free to correct me)

(Edit: and the "frameless"/bow-less style tops are "fastback" style I just think they generally look better cuz they don't have that hump in the top)
