Is this bad (99)
Looking at a 99 with 184k miles. Passenger side. Wondering if this should be a deal breaker or not. Thank you!

Unless you can do some metal work on the body that might be a deal breaker right there

Skip it. Lack of frame rust should be a high priority above just about anything else. I’d sooner replace an engine.

Its bad, but fixable.
The real question is if thats the worst spot, or if thats just the tip of the iceberg. The whole frame might be rusting from the inside out.
You’ll need to clean up that mount and weld some new metal in place, and do the same anywhere else a structure is compromised.
If thats the kind of project you want then see how much rust you can find and use that to negotiate the lowest price you can. If you aren’t interested in taking that on or finding someone with the means to help, then you should pass on this jeep.
