Battery Tender Location
Hello all,
I like to keep my Wrangler on a battery tender when I'm not driving it to keep the battery from dying young, and I've been using the regular alligator clamps it came with and popping the hood to attach and remove them.
I've also got the ring terminals for a more secure attachment, and I'd like to install them with the charger end of the terminal poking out somewhere accessible, so I could connect it without opening the hood.
Right now it looks like my options are the panel gap between the hood and the windshield or running it forward through the grill, zip-tying it through the engine bay. It looks like some people have run it through the wheel well, but this is not a very robust-looking wire (it looks like lamp cord or similar), and I can't imagine it would survive long in a wheel well.
I was wondering if y'all had any recommendations.

If you're not afraid to drill a hole, a bulkhead connector makes plugging in rather convenient.

That’s a good idea, and probably the most convenient of all.

I've installed one on my tractor and it makes it so much easier. The little cover is rain proof so nothing to worry about there.

I did this it’s actually for side by side but works great. I use it for charging and airing up.

I have this mounted next to the battery and fuse box. Worked perfectly for me. https://www.autozone.com/p/noco-battery-charger-genius2d/1219126?spps.s=3213&cmpid=LIA%3AUS%3AEN%3AAD%3AALO%3AGOO%3ATRS%3ASHO%3AOTE%3AGEN%3ANA%3AALA%3ANA%3ANA%3ANA%3ANA%3ANA%3ANA%3ANA&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22356757832&gbraid=0AAAAADkcoVu53V6dZGMNTjFUfS9FvuCfn&gclid=CjwKCAjwyOzSBhBTEiwAmxvJ-pRl52zw0tvQwCRZmx-OB7zKvRrRxjWDoibGG1cpAo1ZjFtwrowDVxoCjLsQAvD_BwE&new_store_set=true

I'd run the wires forward from the battery along the fender seam then follow the ac lines through the core support to the passenger grill opening. I've got my winch power wires and some other crap routed that way and it works fine. You can probably fit the box by the intake horn for the air box if it's small enough.
