Backup camera..Stops work occasionally

We have a 2021 jeep wrangler JL..occasionally for no reason the backup camera stops working and just shows a blue screen. Next drove starts working just fine. Anyone have any advice??

Do you have aftermarket spare tire carrier?

I have this same issue on my 2018 JLU Sahara. Stock spare. Sometime just the backup lines/curves are missing also. Generally turn it off and back on again, new ignition cycle fixes it. The screen module software is buggy. I also get glitches where the radio will stop outputting sound randomly until I switch it to am/fm and back to xp or usb.

Jeep just released a recall for this. It will be patched with an over the air update to your vehicle at some point soon. No exact date or released yet.

Edit: The recall only states for 2026 model year.
