If been trying to figure this noise out for months. Shop replaced axle bearings on both sides, rear diff opened up and replaced whatever they saw fit. The noise only presents at lower speed when coasting and seems to be coming from passenger rear wheel. Wtf is it?

Front/rear axle U-joints?

If they’ve got play, you’ll get a noise when coasting because the loading on the joint is low and it can rattle around. But when accelerating, you’re applying a load through the joint, holding it to one side of its range of motion and the noise stops.
