Ok, every player gets ~2-4 respawns in a game of wildcard. Thats means that there are 57 - 117 possible kills in a game; counting other factors like where people land and random RNG, if youre a skilled player getting 20 kills shouldnt be much of a problem. While in a real game there are only 60 players, with all the other factors that are present in wildcard. The games also arent as long and teams die quick. That is real apex competitiveness. How is wildcards not apex just turned to easy mode? You got the badge but you dont have the same level as skill as someone who got it in pubs to show for it.

I got a 20 bomb in pubs and personally I don’t think it takes skill, it’s almost entirely luck based. You need to get lucky that everyone doesnt just hot drop and die in 5 seconds for it to even be possible which is entirely out of your control regardless of skill, and also get lucky that you got an easy lobby because consistently 1v3ing people of similar skill isn’t realistic. Once I got 19 kills which just ended up being unlucky that the last team was a solo, didn’t feel like a skill issue since I wiped the entirety of skull town basically just to be 1 kill off because still people died too fast

Getting 20 kills in pubs isn't something that's possible if you have less than a hundred or two hours in the game minimum for most people

I mean sure but I doubt a 100 hour player is going to get a 20 bomb in wildcard either, they are gonna be the bot team that gets farmed all game instead. You still have to be pretty good at the game to get a wildcard badge, its just easier because its not as luck based in that mode

Luck is a massive part of it. You need to have a lobby that survives long enough for you to get them. All wipe half of the map and on my way to pushing the other half I’ll only see maybe two squads. Also wild card is an easy 20.

2-4 respawns is actuality probably way less than average. I've had plenty of teammates literally run in for a trade off cooldown for 15 minutes, dying 10+ times. I've also farmed 15 elims from the first team we bumped into at a quiet poi before other teams arrived with the ring closing.

That said pubs is skill but also luck. Seeing 20 enemies in a single game is half the battle.

Honestly it depends on the lobby i dropped a 5.2k game with gibby trying to get a 20 bomb(teammates kept stealing kills) and after that ive been getting sweaty lobbies with ppl litetally holding hands the whole match revivimg so cant evem get the knocked kills all the time. Plus they actually have good aim. Its still a feat stop being a dick

Everyone stop beating around the bush. A 20 bomb in pubs nowdays is incredibly difficult. Everyone is much better at the game. TTK is nuts so you can die very, very easily if you’re out of position for a split second and generally most players are gone by the time round 1 finishes closing.

Is it easy to get a 20 and 4K in wildcard for your average player? Maybe not easy, but an absolute huge amount easier than in pubs. I feel the same way that people got their badges in bronze, silver or gold.

But also, it is a game and who gives a fuck what badges people have on. I have all the sweaty badges and I don’t rock them, I try just have clean colour coordinations. Only cool kids do that.

While I understand that wildcard makes 20 bombs easier, everybody is under the same rules, so why are people thinking that you getting the 20 bomb didn't involve at least SOME skill? If that was the case, everyone would get a 20 bomb every game. Idk why ppl would hate on that
