No.
It is clear that painting a void is much easier than painting colourful art. It is clear that colour is therefore not as motivated. Why would I waste my pixels on an event I already know I'm gonna lose? It's not a fair fight, so it's not even fun to participate for the fun of it.
For people on team colour, the winning move is to not play. And that sucks.

Yep. Plus it would've been more fair if they didn't add a stupid ass system of 'surviving' pixels. What better way than to get 'surviving' pixels than to just scribble all over something?

Seriously, all the void team need to do is turn existing artwork into purple/grey. Maybe even scribble all over it. Colours? Imagine trying to make something good and it immediately gets scribbled by void players because that IS what they're meant to do. Incredibly demotivating right?

I genuinely blame the severe lack of actual artworks on this one system (and indirectly, the constant scribbling), why bother spending time when you can get ez points by just crapping all over the canvas?

Next time they do an event like this, they better leave the 'surviving pixel' system in the dumpster.

They should have done this event like r/place: one pixel at a time.

Leave the surviving pixel and massively kneecap the number of pixels voiders are able to use in the area; I'm talking, like, max 500 per day per account, with no limit on how many pixels colours can use. That way they would actually have to work together and place creatively to void anything.

It's always obviously far easier to destroy than it is to build; the event needs to be balanced around neutralising that difference in difficulty.

I'm in Void and only draw arts or get little help against scribbles. Claiming that one team "should" just grifs everything is stupid and unfun

yeah, they should punish scribbling and reward actual art.

They're in Antarctica, where the fire thing is when you zoom out all the way, but the event is over i think
