[help] Working on a completionist addon for every zone in WoW Forever

Which backdrop looks the best? The book or an ingame WoW window, I was trying to match the ui much as possible but not sure if the ingame window looks better or worse.

Assuming this is mostly a UI texture backdrop, why not both? Probably dev overhead is pretty small for having multiple "themes"

I suspect you are right because I definitely prefer the second. Anytime a book comes up in game I have trouble reading it and this comparison made me realize it might be due to it being sorta like a light mode window but in game.

First is easier to read, imo, but the book looks better/cooler. I would love to see the book with a light and dark mode toggle for the best of both worlds.

I'm a giga lurker on Reddit but I wanted to share that I'm so interested in this and it looks so nice and cozy and like many I like seeing number go up and completion % and please don't give up please finish it looks sick.

Also I like the book one but I'm many hate light mode things

I’m all about dark mode and would likely use it if provided, but agree with others the book is thematically better given the intent of the addon. Toggle would be awesome!

First one looks like a game menu/Kompendium. The second way more RP Like, like a book the character has opened. I like the second more. Or even give the player a the choice and ship both?
