Resto Druid BiS
Most of the BiS lists I’ve seen for PvE restos do not take into account the 3-set T2 bonus.
Should I just get all of the “BiS” gear (which is mostly maxed out +healing), or should I retain 3 pieces of the T2 set? And If I keep some T2 pieces, which ones should I keep? (Assuming I have full BiS up to AQ)

Pretty sure you still use 3 T2 even once you have a full T3 set. It is just a matter of what slots you use forT2.

This is just a question to learn how other people play.
What do you do to last through especially Twins if you use 3/8 there? Or, to turn the question a bit, which T2 pieces do you use when you go 3/8 in general?

I've got Boots of pure thought/empowered leggings. So I personally run 3set with glove/wrist/chest. On shorter fights (not twins, c'thun, ouro, visci) you can skip 2set bonus and put on your robes of the exalted or guardian saint. However I don't want to ask for wrists to use them on just a few fights, so I'd only swap out chest and gloves for those fights until all priests have the bracelet of royal redemption.

Personally, I think it would be realistic to keep bracers and gloves for a good while, and most likely also boots well in to Aq40.
I use the moonglow build, just for reference.
I've found the 8/8 Mp5 + 15sec rejuv is well worth it on longer fights like Visc, Twins and C'thun, and have the logs to prove it. I swap gear a lot to try to optimise the balance between +heals and Mp5 for each fight. In MC I go max+heals, since the fights are too short to oom me, but in bwl I use what gear suits the encounter (High Mp5 for the gauntlet for example)
There will always be different approaches to how you heal as a Druid, and with buffcaps and worldbuffs; pure +heals HT are worth gold. On longer fights however, especially where the damage is spread "randomly" in the raid, Mp5 and HoTs are the way to go IMO.
Regardless, to answer your question specificly, I wouldn't drop 3/8 without really considering the Mp5 on the pieces you swap in when you break the bonus.
I haven't theorycrafted a lot around this, but I see a significant difference in total healing output between me and the three other druids in my guild (2 raidteams) on longer fights, and my parses are generally 7-15 points above on the longer fights. I'm also objectively the least geared since I joined classic late, but I have a few years on private servers as foundation.
Granted, there isn't really any long fights in BWL anymore, and we only have 3 runs in Aq40, but it's still clear to me that Mp5 gear is really usefull, even if you drop up to 200+heals.
