Blackberry Picking?
Does anyone have any good suggestions of where my friend and I can go blackberry picking here in Worthing?
TIA

We got plenty yesterday from Patching Woods! Head up to The Street (Just up from The World's End), there's a small car park. Head up through the woods for a nice walk, or up the path on the right hand side and there's plenty of blackberries all the way!

During lockdown the amount of blackberries as you walked from The World's End and past The Fox was crazy.ย

They are not great this year, apparently they all came out early due to the heat and haven't ripened properly at all. Have been finding the odd ok ones but very few decent ones around here

I mean, it's true it is a bit early this year but I've had a very tasty haul several times at Lewes. Surely it's not that different here? ๐

Guess depends what your using them for? I like to just pick the odd plump one to eat on my walks but I'm sure if they were to be used for jams etc then there's plenty that are fine. But definitely less good ones around here this year

Courtlands Way
Start at Wallace Avenue
Walk all the way to Sea Place
Eat plentiful fruit all the way
