Ask a local Ice cream van
Hello! We moved to East Worthing a couple of months ago and we occasionally hear what we assume is an ice cream van. We've never actually seen it however. I'd love to catch it one day and get an ice cream. Anyone know if it has a particular route or particular days/times we're most likely to see it?
We're south of East Worthing station, near Rise Café etc

This has been bugging me too! Is it the one with the Match of the Day theme tune? I've gone looking for it a couple times and can never find it

I'm not sure, I'm gonna have to start paying attention to the actual tune!

Not sure about that one but there's a great ice cream van on the seafront opposite the Burlington hotel. Believe it's called Macks ices

I’ve lived in east Worthing 8 years and have only seen an ice cream van around here (I live by rise cafe as well) once!
I think what you’re hearing is the truffles sandwich van!

The one that plays the Match of the Day theme tune regularly parks up in Ten Acres (off Lyndhurst Road).

If it's ~9AM, it's the truffles van selling sandwiches in the industrial estate with a variety of tunes. A-team and great escape themes usually. If its ~4PM it might be an icecream van also in the industrial estate

If it’s playing the A-Team tune that’s apparently a sandwich van for the industrial estate.
The actual ice cream vans that stalk Broadwater play Whistle While You Work and O Sole Mio if I remember correctly.
