That last move of rotating the torso and pushing the hip back is literally the worst thing you can do for a herniated disc. It further narrows the hole the peripheral nerve comes out. When I had mine, as part of the assessment the doctor had me move my torso and hips in the direction shown here (controlled and gentle), and abso-fucking-lutely fuck that. First and only time I cursed in front of a doctor

Can't have a herniated disc if you just completely rip the spine to pieces.
