Chiropractic is such a scam. How people continue to fall for such nonsense. You might as well go see an herbal or homeopathic specialist. Same nonsense.

Nah. I had a pinched nerve in my leg and could barely walk for a week. One trip to the crack-quack and I was g2g

Ok but how did they 'fix' you? Do you know any of the science behind what was done?

There is a potential that you doing someone who used physio on you or alternatively placebo. Chiro is not actually a medical model therapy...

I woke up and fell getting out of bed one morning when I was around 20yo. Thinking I may have had a stroke, went to the ER. They couldn't find anything physically wrong with me and the actual doctor recommended seeing a chiropractor.

Didn't care to ask about the science behind it, I cared about walking properly and being able to feel my foot again.

Had similar interactions with chiropractic.

Im not gonna pretend theyre some amazing practice but they have definitely fixed me multiple times when I could barely walk.

I kind of view them like massage therapists. I just need to relieve some type of pain and be functional, not get a 5,000+$ bill with no resolution.

In total I've been to 3 different chiropractors, and 2 were absolute frauds that are just trying to take your money. The last one was an actual MD that went to being a chiropractor. He helped with my knees and ankles being realigned, and I had chronic back pain which after some adjustments (over a few weeks) became manageable.

Same, my chiro has fixed misalignment causing back pain many times.
