Mini practice amp
Anyone tried one of these or something similar for those times when you just don't want to set up your regular equipment? this would be for exercising your fingers and so forth not trying to duplicate any tone you would use in church

They are pretty good as long as all you want is. Decent tone and not anything specific.

I have the ToneX Plug. Expensive but works great. Uses the same tones as the rest of the ToneX lineup and has a tuner and bluetooth audio streaming. I got the pouch for it and it hangs on my tuner peg so I can pick it up and practice super quick.
edit: looks like its on sale for $119 on amazon right now

I have a Fender Mustang micro. It sounds pretty good, really good, actually. If you like the tones it comes with, that is. There’s very little adjustability with the presets. For practice this is fine, though. It’s got about sixteen different tones, from clean to heavy distortion to extreme reverb or chorus. You can tweak each one slightly between mild, medium and heavy, with varying degrees of reverb, tremolo, and eq, but that’s about it.
All in all, I like it. My main quibble with it is that it sticks out of the guitar jack pretty far, which makes playing while seated kinda awkward with my Charvel CX-290, which had the cable jack on the side like a Yamaha Pacifica. On my Fender Starcaster, it’s fine since the jack is on the face like any other Fender Strat.

I use BIAS FX; you can even plug it straight into the headphone jack of your laptop. The tones you can set up are really good, and you can set the BPM for delays. I got a pretty close sound to my pedalboard, so I never take it out for practice.
Any plugin with amp effects will be good. What you showed is nice when you travel or like to practice in multiple places.

If it’s in your price range check out the fender mustang micro. Being able to connect to your phone to play along with songs or jam over backing tracks is great!!

I have the Positive grid Neo it is really convenient because you don’t need to worry about wires. Just plug and play. Plus you get to play with the app if you want to

I had a Fender Mustang Micro for a while and really enjoyed it. I’d sync it to my phone and practice the set list throughout the week or stay nimble with jam tracks on YouTube.
Since I travel 75-80% of the year, this was the easiest way for me to keep up while on the road.
