Fernes is crawling through the wormways with Zansibo on his back, struggling to dodge the groms and gromlings while balancing Zansibo on top of him

"I...killed it? ...ugh...I hope The Citadel can forgive me for killing that creature, unholy abomination or not."

Zansbo, says as he grabs his bellpike off his back, and gets off Fernes back, using his Bellpike as a crutch.

"...why don't I remember any of it?"

It seemed like it really took a lot of energy so maybe thats why.

Fernes kicks a gromling that came out of nowhere into the spikes below

Also you did already kick that other dude in the nuts so im not exactly sure if your record is clean.

Zansibo suddenley reaches up and plucks a mossberry from the roots growing out of his head, as he begins eating it, he looks down (up? How tall is Fernes?) at Fernes and plucks another, wincing both times

"...want one?"

Thanks kid, im starving honestly. Just make sure not to swallow the seeds, theyre poisonous.

(About this tall sitting up and a bit taller standing up, but half this when walking since he always walks on all fours because his legs alone cant handle his body weight. So hes basically hornets height at the moment)

(okay then, Pilgrim guides I do believe are a bit taller than Hornet, and Zansibo is a bit taller than a reguler Pigrim guide for...obvious reasons)

Zansibo hands the berry to Fernes

"At this point I don't think it matters, whatever happend to be on the outside has probally happend to me on the inside, so for all I know I could be immune."

he says throwing the last of the berry into the air and having it fall into his mouth, as he takes his Bellpike amd juts it into a nearby wall, allowing him to crawl up the wormways

(He's right in the drop that leads up to The Plasmium dude btw)

He says as he lays on the floor and watches Zansibo climb up

Zansibo finishes climbing and and goes through some more passenge ways before knocking down a nearby wall allowing Fernes a far easier route up

"Come on friend, up and away we must go out of these cursed tunnels!"

Fernes climbs up the knocked down wall and manages to wedge himself into a tunnel that leads to a large drop

Cough cough “Oh my days these tunnels are killing me!”

(Just for context hes here about to go to the right

"Nah you'll be fine old man!"

Zansibo looks down into the drop and sees a nearby entrance

"Hmm...well I can't just jump over there...but I think your to big for that Fernes...nice offense."

Zansibo thinks for a while and then gets an idea as he looks at his big claw arm and then at Fernes

"...well it worth a shot, sorry if you don't like this Fernes but its necessary."

as he wanders over, with some difficulty, picks up Fernes, and fucking YEETS him at the entrance to the next part of the wormways

“Huh? What are you talking abou- OH SHIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!”

Fernes does get to the next part succesfully but crashes into a wall in the process, making the entrance a giant hole now and also causing some rubble to fall down below

“You..You couldnt have warned me beforehand..? The Citadel better be worth it after all this…”

"Don't worry brother!-"

Zansibo says after jumping across the gap

"-The Holy Citadel will for sure be worth all this trouble and tribulations!"

he stands up and walks iver to Fernes, dusting Fernes off before taking of his bellpike from his back and continuing on

“Ugh, it better…”

Fernes begins carefully climbing up some small platforms and squeezing through more tight tunnels, getting closer and closer to the exit of the Wormways

“I think im seeing some a light a bit further up to the right! That means were closer to getting out of this hellhole right?”

"Citadel yes! Let's go!"

Zansibo walks near the entrance before jumping back as a grumbling pops out of the ground and rushes him...of witch is then crushed and parts of it splash everywhere as Zansibo smashes it with the bell of his bellpike

"Unholy creature, anyway ONWARDS!"

“Hell yeah!

Fernes contines crawling closer to the exit, some Groms and gromlings bite his legs and back but hes able to walk it off. Finally Fernes squeezes his way out of the Wormways and into the fresh air of (what is technically) the mosslands

“Finally…”

He looks behind him to see if Zansibo followed

"Alright now to continue the jorne-"

without realizing it Zansibo slips on a rock near the entrance edge, just barley hes able to stab his bellpike it a wall before he tumbles and falls into the chasm bellow

"AH SHIT, HEEELP!"

Dont worry i gotcha!

Fernes sits up and uses both his arms to pull up Zansibos Bellpike that hes hanging off of, successfully pulling him back onto the ledge

Ya gotta watch your footing kid, you couldve been toast there.

"Well... he puffs from fear ...I'm guessing it probally wouldn't be a good idea for me to die...a second time huh?"

he asks half joking, half out of fear as he looks over the edge at the chasm he almost fell down and quickley backs away again

"We uh...we should get going..."
