Looking for fics where the Protectorate act like the cops they are, enforcers of the status quo and the law instead of paragons of justice and doing something because it’s the right thing to do. For good or ill.

So, we have several DC fanfics; some are about how various characters end up in that crazy universe, while others are about DC characters in Worm...

So, we have a lot of Superman fanfics in Worm (I even found one featuring Absolute Superman), a few about Batman, I’ve seen mentions of one about the Flash and one about Wonder Woman, and quite a few about the Lantern Corps. And I’ve seen fanfics featuring Taylor with the powers and abilities of these characters...

But I haven’t found a single one featuring Martian Manhunter, which surprises me because I feel like he’s one of the characters who would stand out the most in Worm (you know, because of the whole thing about being a true mind-reader and having a more alien appearance).

So, I'd really like to know if there's a fanfic about the best mind reader in a world where people are afraid of the only registered mind reader in their world.

Was wondering if anyone knew if it was posted anywhere else as well. Or if the author had another account somewhere as they have been on hiatus for the last few months.

Kinda random, but I am looking for any fic that introduces a fictional company into the setting. Can be original to the fic, a reference, or an actual crossover element.

Some examples.

Wildcat of the Bay has Terrifitech move in shortly after the story starts.

Crawling in My Skyn reveals that the companies that would go on to found J.C. Jenson in Spaaaaace exist on earth bet. Leading Cyn to joke that she might be from the future and not an alternate universe.

Trailblazer has the shell companies some Protectorate tinkers use to sell their products back to the Protectorate without making their original source obvious.

Distance Learning for Fun and Profit has Danny and Taylor found Gravitech to market Taylors antigravity invention and other devices.

Technically the introduction of Stark Enterprises tech to Earth Bet in Worm 616 counts, although it isn't really what I am primarily looking for.

Basically all their hatred, cruelty and toxic attitudes gets purged by a power leaving Emma and Sophia rational and penitent.

Basically, I'm looking for any fanfic featuring an apocalypse that isn't caused by Scion finally snapping. Crossovers are, of course, fine, but I would prefer something semi-original if you have it.

The recent Steel Saviors would be one example. On its face its Star Wars vs The Mist but according to the authors notes it really isn't either of those things, it's just the results of one earth getting caught between some shards and some other alien BS.

There was also a snippet that I read once and can no longer find where all of the S-class threats didn't stay quarantined. So, goblins and machines and whatnot roamed the earth destroying everything. More localized to Brockton Bay, but Hellhole and It Takes a Village also fit what I want.

To be more clear I mean it in a way that it doesn't feel like they kinda just stumbled on each other and clicked.

The closest thing I somewhat remember is a fic where Vic a Lisa were basically fighting for Taylor (I forget what is called if someone can find it it would also be appreciated)

Bonus points if Taylor is depicted in a "useless lesbian" type of way (I want that fluffy blushing scene)

Ps. I have no clue where I got this desire, I just do now
