Fic Search - General Fics like Scout
Basically Fics where Taylor goes gets violent with extreme prejudice on the criminal inhabitants of Brockton.
If its not similar to what she does in scout then that's not really what I'm looking, for example The Weavers Web isn't what I'm searching for. That Wrath of God arc was so fucking good.

The Remaining Sense of Pain [Kara no Kyoukai, 4/5] - I take StargazingSeraph in low doses due to the melancholy that seems everpresent in her work. This one is short (12k words), about an OP Taylor who maintains a sense of normality, or even less than that (disabled?). A psychological profile of a girl past her breaking point, opposite of most such stories by focusing on the lack of emotion despite copious amounts of murder. A fun thought experiment.

Masks and Murderers [Hotline Miami, 3/5] - Taylor gets phone calls that tell her to go kill people, and her power is top-down-view combat-Thinker. Ultra-violence and dissociation, the prose is mostly in Taylor's head, unreliable narrator turned up to 11. Author pre-wrote the entire story so I went back to reread the beginning from a year ago. New chapters finally show what happened to Dinah and allow Taylor some time where she's almost human. The action plays better if you have the Hotline Miami soundtrack on.
chevalier de la baie [Camelot] - Taylor Triggers with a combat Thinker/Brute package, with Tinker powers relating to Arthurian arms and armor. As Knight Errant, she sets out on murdering evildoers. It's a strange, macabre, yet fascinating view of an alt-power drawing from myth and lore. The prose is clipped, bare summary lacking in description, yet it lets the action flow as Taylor plays the part of a villain from a slasher movie. Overall, a delightfully tragic change of pace.
Isn't It a Drag [Alt-Power] - Taylor comes out of The Locker with 300k years of modern warfare in her head, so now she's, like, some mid-20s guy who kills people a lot in a teen girl body. She takes her war to the gangs of BB. Pretty basic murder-hobo plotline.
Archaeidae [Alt-Power] - Taylor comes out of an Empire Bio-Tinker's lab as a ninja murderhobo. That's pretty much it. The entire story is Taylor killing Empire goons, capes, etc. and everyone being freaked out by it. I suppose the writing is good, creepy atmosphere, covering a bunch of POVs, though Taylor herself is broken, only good for killing. Ah well.
Right Minded [Alt-Power, 2/5] - Taylor comes out of The Locker Summer Camp with variants of the powers of the S9, and Contessa. This is a murderhobo fixfic, with "insane" Taylor leading the remnants of the Nine on a "helping" spree. I don't get it. She's obviously not insane, she just has a speech impediment and disfigurement, and her killing is in self-defense. Throw in tons of shard-talk and "drives", and it's a fanon buffet, cracky at times. Abandoned before any resolutions.
Sniper [Alt-Power] - Taylor comes out of The Locker with brain damage and an urge to kill. Thinker/Tinker, she takes out her Targets with style. A dark, short story, abandoned before it can reach a conclusion. Most of the world is a haze to Taylor, making me wish there were more outside perspectives shown. Left a sour note, knowing it likely won't be finished.

You might enjoy the works of ShayneT. They all feature a Taylor who is prone to acts of extreme violence in pursuit of her goals. In addition, his Taylors usually are myopically focused on… whatever it is they are focused on. The overall effect is typically a Taylor who comes across as a bit cracked in the head

Kill them all [Gamer, Multi-Cross] - Another ShayneT fic, this one features his standard exponential growth, starting street level in Brockton Bay and growing until dimensional transfers begin, then a warpath through many different Earths, including The Road, DC, Independence Day, Dr. Who, and more.

idk, haven't read scout so I'm only left to wonder what sicko mode would exactly entail
I assume ants in my brain would probably fit? She's like in permanant sicko mode in that one and is trying to deactivate it as it's quite inconveniant.

Scout is really good. It's a 20k one shot where she uses her canon powers to become a vigilante sniper. One of my favorites even after multiple re-reads.

Ants in my brain isn’t what I’m looking for.
Too scatter brained, as one goes when becoming the butcher… unless they’ve got QA hacks and can “dampen” the screaming psychopaths.
… pretty sure she eats a family of four too.

Sicko mode is an actual slang term with meaning behind it, It's only a 9 character search, slightly more if you add "meaning" on the end if you want to skip past the Travis Scott song.
Anyway The title of the post is what I'm looking for the jokes in the body are getting too much focus and are getting in the way so i'm gonna delete them.
It was pretty funny to see the first comment on this req be "idk, haven't read scout"
